    Abstract: An improved system and method for collecting and propagating computer benchmark data is described. A user downloads from a server and runs client software on a particular computer system, configuration, or component. The client software performs benchmarking functions on the system, returns the results to the user, and uploads the data to the server, where it is saved to the appropriate product record. The compiled benchmark scores are displayed on a product page, can be used further used for various business purposes.
