Abstract: A paperboard box configured in a child-resistant manner includes a paperboard tray, and includes a paperboard over-sleeve that is closed at one end and open at the opposite end, where the paperboard tray is housed within the paperboard over-sleeve, the paperboard tray and the paperboard over-sleeve are locked together by interlocking tabs and where one tab is located on the inside of the paperboard over-sleeve and another tab is located on the outside of the paperboard tray, whereby these two interlocking tabs engage with each other and prevent the paperboard box from being opened through normal force when attempting to slide the paperboard tray out from the end of the paperboard over-sleeve.
Abstract: A vortex flowmeter configured for ease of installation in a pipe, having a piezoelectric vortex-sensing element located within its shedder bar and mounted in a removable capsule.
Abstract: Disclosed are time controlled, hydrolytically degradable compositions that include a polyurethane; precipitated silica, carbon black, or a combination thereof; an organic acid adapted to facilitate degradation when the composition is contacted with water; a stabilizer; a first crosslinking agent; and an optional co-agent. The composition is adapted to degrade over a predetermined time period upon contact with water at a pH ranging from 5 to 8 and at a temperature ranging from 100° F. to 250° F.
Abstract: Compositions and methods are beneficial for use in downhole applications, especially oil and gas well bores. A composition includes an elastomer doped with a dopant. The presence of the dopant increases a rate of microbial degradation of the elastomer by a microbe. A method includes forming an article including a doped polymer. The doped polymer includes an elastomer doped with a dopant. The method also includes placing the article in a service environment. The presence of the dopant in the doped polymer increases a rate of microbial degradation of the elastomer by a microbe in the service environment.

Abstract: A piston pump including a cylinder body having an internal fluid chamber, a piston configured to axially cycle within the cylinder body, an inlet valve, an outlet valve, an annular seal positioned between the piston and cylinder body, a barrier fluid pocket formed in the cylinder body adjacent one end of the annular seal, and a barrier fluid contained within the barrier fluid pocket, the barrier fluid preventing suspended solids in pumped fluid from contacting the annular seal.
Abstract: A flowmeter of the thermal type, having a heated flow-sensing probe and a temperature-sensing reference probe, in which the flow is passed through nozzles to form two jets and those jets are directed at the heated portion of the heated probe and the temperature-sensing portion of the reference probe, while flow around the supporting portion of the heated probe is minimized. Such a flowmeter allows low gas flows to be measured without the use of capillary elements that are subject to plugging and can create unwanted pressure drops.
