Patents Assigned to Ceagfilter und Entstaubungstechnik GmbH
  • Patent number: 4203734
Abstract: Purification of a stream of air or gas containing a mixture of vaporous or gaseous impurities of different volatilities and selective adsorption and recovery of the impurities in adsorption filters by passing the stream containing impurities through at least two adsorption filters connected in tandem, maintaining the temperature of adsorption in the first adsorption filter sufficiently high to selectively adsorb the impurities of low volatility, passing the stream containing impurities of higher volatility from the first adsorption filter through at least the second adsorption at a temperature lower than the temperature in the first adsorption filter to selectively adsorb the impurities of higher volatility. Temperature of adsorption may be obtained by passing the stream through a heat exchanger preceding the filter.

  • Patent number: 4190423
Abstract: Method of separating vaporous or gaseous impurities from an air or gas flow by means of an adsorption filter wherein, after the filter has attained a predetermined loading of the impurities, the impurities absorbed in the filter together with an inert gas produced by stoichiometric combustion and conducted in a circulatory loop through the adsorption filter, are fed desorbed and together with excess gas escaping from the circulatory loop to a combustion chamber and consumed in the combustion chamber with excess air adequate for complete combustion includes supplying the heat energy necessary for the desorption to the ineat gas conducted in the circulatory loop from exhaust gas of the combustion chamber through a heat exchanger traversed by both gas flows and separating both of the gas flows from one another.

  • Patent number: 4088460
Abstract: Method and apparatus for purifying an air or gas flow of combustible vaporous or gaseous impurities by passing air or gas through an adsorption filter, desorbing the filter by passing a heated inert gas, and prior to passing the hot inert gas through the adsorption filter, passing a cold protective gas through the adsorption zone thereby preventing undesired ignition of the desorbate and the burning of carbon. Provision is made for spaced closing elements at the gas inlet and the gas outlet of the adsorption chamber with introduction of protective gas in the interspace between the closing elements.

  • Patent number: 4087260
Abstract: Apparatus and method for the adsorption in sorption filters of impurities from a stream of air or gas and for the desorption of the impurities by an inert gas after the filter is charged to a predetermined level, in which the sorption filter is a ring layer filter with a container surrounding a sorption medium layer composed of concentric perforated metal sheets with an adsorption medium disposed in between, in the form of cylindrical rings. An outer jacket surrounds the container with a gap therebetween through which coolant flows. Near the top of the gap are discharge openings closed by louvers which open automatically upon increase in pressure in the cooling gap.
