Abstract: A method, gaming machine, and online gaming system for playing a game of baccarat with a color side bet that the number of cards of a selected suit color in either the Player hand or the Banker hand will exceed the number of similarly colored cards in the other hand. After the regular baccarat hand is played, the Banker hand and the Player hand are compared with respect to the number of cards of the selected color and the outcome of the color side bet is determined based on which hand contains more cards of the selected color. A gaming table is configured the specific areas for receiving the color side bet.
