Abstract: The cap (1) portion of the assembly comprises at least one guarantee strip (2, 3) connected to its body (5) by breakage bridges (4), the neck of the receptacle carrying ratchet teeth and the guarantee strip (2, 3) carrying internal teeth (6) adapted to cooperate with the ratchet teeth. The ratchet teeth (9) are elastically inclinable in the direction of screwing to allow the cap (1) to be screwed on while preventing its being unscrewed without breaking the bridges (4). At least one guarantee strip (2) has free ends (21) and is ejected transversely the first time the cap (1) is screwed on. The internal teeth (6) are so disposed that they cooperate with the ratchet teeth by only a single internal tooth (6) upon screwing and unscrewing. The cap (1) can be applied to tamper-proof receptacles in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, hygiene, food and cleaning product industries.

Abstract: The invention relates to a strip or portion of a strip for deep drawing or drawing and ironing comprising a metallic layer carrying on one surface a surface coating of plastics material and on its other surface a coat of varnish characterized in that: the metallic layer is of aluminum alloy with each surface having a coating of anodic or chemical conversion oxide 20 to 80 nm thick; and the coat of varnish contains a solid lubricant consisting of particles which are harder than the varnish and less hard than the shaping tool or tools, which particles are of an average diameter greater than the thickness of the said coat after firing. The invention also has an object the use of this strip to produce various hollow bodies or containers, particularly with a height:diameter ratio in excess of 2.5 and for producing aerosol or pump distributors.

The closure (3) comprises an opening capsule (3) provided with a base (4), and the base (4) and the neck (2) are configured for snap-on engagement after the commencement of insertion in full cross-section of a fitting device (25) onto the cover (8), and, lower down, a screwing device, these devices (15 and 25) allowing the cover (8) to be ruptured and to be fitted into the neck (2).

Abstract: A dispenser having a head fixed on a body or a skirt, and a cap, with the cap comprising an outer skirt, a deformable internal crown and an intermediate ring, the head and the intermediate ring of the cap having complementary screw threads for raising and lowering the cap, the head including a stopper supported by sloping legs fixed inside the head and occluding an aperture of the cap when the cap is in a low position, the internal crown and the head cooperating sealingly once the cap is engaged on the head, the head including a shoulder which has at least one stop lug cooperating with a rib on the intermediate ring near its lower end to hinder an uncontrolled unscrewing of the cap when the cap is screwed downwards to close the dispenser.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method of making a dispensing head comprising a rigid annular dome made of plastics and, above the dome, a dispensing valve or a pump, the valve or pump having an annular fixing shoulder, the circumference of which is made at least externally of plastics, the lower end of the dome carrying an annular flange for fixing over a can body. In the method disclosed the valve or pump is disposed between tools which tightly grip the fixing shoulder and provide play which limits its heating during a molding operation. Annular tools are provided, forming a circular gap with the tools that grip the fixing shoulder, the gap closing over the shoulder and forming the geometry of the dome and its annular fixing flange. Molten plastics are injected into the annular gap through one or more injection orifices, the molded dispensing head cooled and demolded. The invention also relates to the corresponding preassembled heads and dispensers using them.

Abstract: A pasty product dispenser (1) comprising a body defining a chamber for storing at least one main pasty product and pumping system defined by a wall surmounting the storage chamber and by an intake valve member, the wall carrying on the side of the storage chamber a separator tube enclosing the valve member and comprising passages for at least one secondary pasty product contained between the separator tube and the body, the passages being outside the separator tube, the wall having a rotating cover with traversing apertures, rotation of the cover progressively masks or exposes the passages, the apertures being occluded by the valve member when it is in its low position.

Abstract: A bag-type dispenser comprising a casing including a tubular body and a separate body portion, a tubular skirt, a dispensing portion and a one-piece molded annular dome of plastic material including an upper annular portion fixed to the dispensing portion, a lower tubular portion directly and sealingly fixed to the tubular skirt at an upper portion of the skirt over a height of 5 to 20 mm, and a lower annular portion outside the lower tubular portion, directly and sealingly fixed to the tubular body at an upper end. The dispenser can be filled with product by way of a lower end of the tubular skirt which is open, and which can subsequently be closed to form a bag.

Abstract: A container and its threaded sealing cap with a tear-off security strip, a constricted portion of the container being threaded and provided with flexible teeth having an increasing spring action ratcheting with notches of the security strip, and having a mechanical strength making it possible to guarantee that the container is tamper-proof, while insuring ease of opening after tearing off the security strip.

Abstract: According to the invention, a metallic product of a thickness less than or equal to 1 mm is compressed between a narrow elongated relief (2, 3) and an alternating succession of reliefs (10) and hollows (11) disposed opposite this narrow relief (2, 3), the differences in level between the said alternating reliefs (10) and hollows (11) being transverse in respect of the said narrow relief (2, 3), the compression stress being such that the minimum thicknesses of the said metallic product after compression are comprised between 0.01 and 0.15 mm. This method makes it possible to obtain tearing lines which have no injurious rough portions. The invention likewise relates to the products obtained and is particularly interesting in the field of packaging.

The tube comprises a skirt portion, a neck portion having an opening serving as a dispensing orifice and a shouder portion joining the skirt and neck portions. This distributing member comprises a plurality of longitudinal, generally tubular passages opening into the interior of the skirt portion and into the interior of the neck portion through the cover portion, the tubular passages being separated by at least one gap which is open to the interior of the tube and open to the neck portion through at least one central aperture in the cover portion. Abstract: The invention discloses a method of and apparatus for inserting a lid, or plug closure, in a container body by use of a thrust member bearing on the back surface of the lid in which the thrust member is applied in such a way as to obtain a creasing of the lid when the pressure of the air trapped in the said body increases, this air then escaping between the lid and the container body. The invention is applicable to the fields of cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, hygiene products and foodstuffs.

Abstract: A distributor body comprises a housing having a bottom, a lateral wall secured to the bottom and a top end opposite to the bottom, and a dome sealingly fixed to the top end. The dome is rigid and formed of a plastics material and comprises a central annular portion having a minimal thickness between 1.2 and 4 mm, an upper annular portion and a lower annular portion. The lower annular portion sealingly fixes the dome to the top portion by direct axial fitment. The upper annular portion is adapted for receiving a distribution means such as a valve or pump. The distributor body can be used to dispense materials in the areas of cosmetology, pharmaceuticals, hygiene and foodstuffs.

Abstract: The invention relates to a unit made up of a cap and a receptacle with a neck made of plastics, the cap includes a base made of plastics, the base including a sealing member inside the neck which can be fixed on the neck simply by pushing and snapping it on. The base and neck, by longitudinal insertion, cooperate to prevent relative rotation. When the base is pushed onto the neck, insertion with a full cross-section is initiated, then forced insertion of the sealing member in the neck is initiated, and then the snapping on action is initiated. The cap of the invention is used to provide decorated tubes, with the cap oriented in a constant and definitive manner relative to the tubes.

Abstract: The invention concerns a process for the production and packaging of a bag-type dispenser comprising a casing surmounted by a dome, a sealed flexible bag fixed in said casing and dispensing means sealingly connected to said dome and to said bag characterized in that, prior to any other assembly and packaging operation, a dome of plastics material is produced by moulding, the dome comprising an internal tubular portion permitting sealing fixing thereon on to the upper end of a skirt forming the blank for the bag, and then said fixing is produced, thus providing a preassembled component, dome+skirt, the dome further comprising portions for fixing thereof respectively on to the upper end of the casing and to the dispensing means. The invention also concerns the resulting sub-assemblies and bag-type dispensers. The invention is used in the pharmaceutical, cosmetological, hygiene and foodstuff fields.

Abstract: The first object of the invention is a process for closing or sealing a flexible tube filled with a liquid, creamy or semi-pasty product (7), in which its skirt (2) is nipped below its open end so as to bring about a closure (10) allowing the escape of the air contained in the tube when the latter is transversely compressed and then after compression the closure (10) is transformed into a tight closure and the open end (17) of the tube is sealed. According to the invention, skirt (2) is nipped with elastically tightened parallel surfaces (10) and the skirt (2) is compressed to the right of the product contained (7), in such a way that the upper level of said product (7) remains below or at the lower limit of closure (10) and the end portion (17) of the tube (1) passing beyond said closure (10) is sealed, so as to avoid any pollution by the product deteriorating the seal. The second object of the invention is an apparatus for performing this process.

Abstract: The object of the invention is an aluminium or an alloy closure capsule adapted to be crimped onto the neck of a bottle and of which the ring comprises a shoulder, the skirt of this capsule comprising a retaining ring or peripheral rib which, after the capsule has been crimped onto the neck, will define with the portion of the skirt covering the top edge of the said shoulder of the neck an annular groove permitting guidance of a blade for cutting the capsule, and also a line of weakness consisting of a thinned peripheral zone situated in the bottom of the said groove. The invention also relates to the method of producing this capsule which is used for any closure of a bottle which has to have its capsule removed by means of a knife.

Abstract: A distributor for pasty products having a sliding piston and a distribution head. The distribution head has a tubular, deformable pumping member, an actuator acting on the pumping member and an expelling valve. An upper end of an upper tube of the pumping member forms an annual end edge. The expelling valve has a flexible disk with a periphery kept in engagement with the end edge of the tube by a central bearing member of the disk. The bearing member is connected to the actuator, the flexible disk and the end edge of the tube.
