Abstract: The present disclosure provides an augmented reality (AR) device for patients with retinitis pigmentosa and macular degeneration comprising a map providing unit, a region setting unit, and a region display unit, wherein the map providing unit sequentially drives a plurality of scanning points included in a display of wearable glasses to provide a scotoma map wherein a user's scotoma is checked according to the user's input signal, the region setting unit sets the user's scotoma region based on the scotoma map; the region display unit displays an external image corresponding to the scotoma region in a display region included in the display.
Abstract: Disclosed are a vision aid device based on an electrochromic layer that maintains a visibility of light input from an outside and improves a resolution of an image projected to the eyes of a wearer, and vision aid glasses including the same.

Abstract: Provided are a new sub-type artificial retina device, and a driving method and a manufacturing method of the sub-type artificial retina device capable of minimizing cross-talk. The sub-type artificial retina device and the driving method thereof can effectively control cross-talk, compared to conventional methods. In addition, the manufacturing method of the sub-type artificial retina device can manufacture a sub-type artificial retina device capable of effectively controlling cross-talk through a simple process, and can reduce costs.
Abstract: An artificial retina system based on an augmented reality according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include an external device and an artificial retina device. The external device may be disposed outside the human body, and may include a micro display providing a processed image which is image-processed based on external image information obtained by capturing an external region of a human body; and the artificial retina device may be disposed in an eyeball inside the human body, and may provide a retinal tissue included in the human body with an electrical signal corresponding to the processed image provided by the micro display.
