Abstract: Disclosed are a hyaluronic acid derivative effective against atopic dermatitis, and a method for manufacturing same. The method for manufacturing the hyaluronic acid derivative of the present invention comprises: a first step of chlorinating ascorbic acid; a second step of producing a tetrabutylamonium hydroxide (TBA) salt of hyaluronic acid; and a third step of conjugating the ascorbic acid chlorinated in the first step and the TBA salt of hyaluronic acid produced in the second step. The hyaluronic acid derivative can effectively decrease the substances causing skin lesions, can contribute toward the remission of atopic disease, and is effective in skin renewal.
