Patent number: 7760665Abstract: A list of nodes is segmented into one or more segments, each segment having a node limit and a segment criteria, attributes associated with a first node are identified, a determination is made whether to add the first node to a particular segment of the node list based on the node limit and the attributes of the first node, nodes are ranked nodes in the particular segment, and a determination is made whether to remove a candidate node from the particular segment based on the node limit.Type: GrantFiled: February 29, 2008Date of Patent: July 20, 2010Assignee: Cellnet Technology, Inc.Inventors: Ruben Salazar Cardozo, Rahman Abderrahman, Brian Seal, John Bettendorff

Patent number: 7756160Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for consolidating network packetized data are disclosed. Data packets are received by a consolidator. Common content and unique attributes of the packets are identified. A consolidated packet is created and the consolidated packet is transmitted in response to a condition.Type: GrantFiled: November 16, 2007Date of Patent: July 13, 2010Assignee: Cellnet Technology, Inc.Inventors: Brian Seal, John Bettendorff, Ruben Salazar Cardozo

Publication number: 20100072989Abstract: Embodiments for rotation sensing are provided. The device may include a magnet apparatus comprising a magnet, the magnet apparatus configured to be coupled to a dial apparatus of a meter. Also included may be a magnetic field sensor configured to be coupled to a dial cover. When the magnet apparatus is coupled to the dial apparatus and the magnetic field sensor is coupled to the dial cover, the distance between the magnet and the magnetic field sensor may be a function of the strength of the magnet and the sensitivity of the magnetic field sensor. Also, the magnetic field sensor may be configured to generate an analog signal. The device may also include a memory component storing logic configured to detect an abnormal condition based on a data value of the analog signal. The detected condition may be magnetic tampering, a missing dial cover, and/or a missing dial hand.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 25, 2008Publication date: March 25, 2010Applicant: CELLNET TECHNOLOGY, INC.Inventor: Tyler A. Graff

Publication number: 20100072990Abstract: Embodiments for rotation sensing are provided. A device may include a magnet apparatus including a first and a second magnet. The magnet apparatus may be configured to be coupled to a dial apparatus of a meter. The device may include a first magnetic field sensor and a second magnetic field sensor configured to be coupled to a dial cover. The magnetic field sensors may generate signals based upon the sensed magnetic fields. In some embodiments, the device may include logic for counting rotations and/or logic for detecting abnormal conditions such as a missing dial hand, missing dial cover, magnetic tampering and/or malfunctioning magnetic field sensors.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 25, 2008Publication date: March 25, 2010Applicant: CELLNET TECHNOLOGY, INC.Inventor: Bruce H.
