At least a portion of the outer surface of the stem is substantially made of a first conductive metal and at least a portion of the flanged head is substantially made of a second conductive metal different from the first conductive metal.

The converting mechanism (8) comprises an epicycloidal gear (16) and a thrust unit (17) co-axial with the epicycloidal gear (16).
Abstract: An impact mechanism (12) for an impact wrench comprises an anvil (8) with a middle portion (13), at least one abutment surface (14) radially protruding therefrom, which forms at least one abutment surface (15), a hammer (4) with an impact surface (16) suitable to give rotational pulses to the anvil (8) by the impact surface (16) hitting the abutment surface (15). The anvil (8) comprises a first connection area (17) connecting the abutment portion (14) to the middle portion (13) within the axial extension of the abutment surface (15) and the middle portion (13) and a reinforcement rib (18) axially arranged out of the abutment surfaces (15) that connects the abutment portion (14) to the middle portion (13) of the anvil (8), thereby forming a second connecting area.
Abstract: A screw for the electrical connection of a cable terminal to a railway track or the like comprises a base body having an elongated shank having a longitudinal axis, a strike head connected with a first end of the shank, and threads for the removable connection of a strike organ or nut with a second end of the shank opposite said first end. The screw further comprises a support element manufactured separately from the base body and associated to the strike head so as to form a stroke that defines a cavity turned towards the second end of the shank. The screw is pre-assembled and the support element is substantially irreversibly connected to the base body.
Abstract: An impact motorized wrench includes a tool-holder shaft arranged on a front side of the wrench and pivoting around a rotation axis, a rotary motion producing motor unit arranged on a rear side of the wrench opposite the front side and an operating member to operate the motor unit, a drive unit with a percussion mechanism being arranged between the motor unit and the tool-holder shaft. The motor unit, the drive unit and the percussion mechanism together form a base body of the wrench and the wrench includes two gripping handles attached to the base body, both being of elongated shape and transversally spaced apart relative to their longitudinal extensions. The handles define a common gripping plane tangential to both handles, which plane extends transversally to the rotation axis. The operating member is associated to one of the two handles.
Abstract: A device (1) for the application and/or for the removal of elements for the connection of a rail to a railway track sleeper, comprising at least one lever (2, 3) mounted on a frame (4) in a rotatable manner around an axis of rotation (5, 6), and equipped with at least one pressure organ (7, 8) adapted to engaging the connecting element, and at least one cylinder-piston group (9) adapted to driving the lever (2, 3) in order to assemble or disassemble the connecting element. The cylinder-piston group (9) comprises a cylinder body (10) and a sliding piston (11) housed within the cylinder body (10) and moveable with respect to the cylinder body (10) under the action of pressurised fluid.
Abstract: A drill for drilling crossties, particularly for use in the railroad sector, comprising a protective enclosure which is formed by a movable portion and by a fixed portion and is suitable to completely cover a chuck of the drill and a drilling bit coupled to the chuck; sliding means which allow the sliding of the movable portion with respect to the fixed portion when the movable portion is placed at an area to be drilled and at the beginning of the drilling operation; and resilient means adapted to bias the sliding of the movable portion with respect to the fixed portion and suitable to be loaded by the penetration of the drilling bit and, at the end of the drilling operation, to be released for the quick disengagement of the bit from a hole formed during the drilling operation.
Abstract: Drill for drilling rails and track rigs, in railroad applications, including a body which supports a motor driving a drilling tool through a reduction unit. Elements are provided for the translatory motion of the drilling tool with respect to the body. There are also elements for removably fixing the body with respect to the element to be drilled.
Abstract: Flexible strip on which the electrical connectors are arranged at uniform intervals and placed mechanically without the aid of adhesive substances and/or fixing elements. The strip has, at uniform distances, openings in which the electrical connectors are placed; the contour of the openings is studied so as to ensure simple and reliable containment of the connector and an equally easy and immediate extraction thereof. The contours blanked in the flexible strip are mostly provided, at their ends, with oppositely arranged protrusions that face the mostly circular openings of the connectors in order to retain them. Other mostly circular openings are blanked in the flexible strip at a constant pitch, mostly alternated with the openings for positioning the electrical connectors, and are used for the traction and positioning of the strip in the apparatus for automatically fixing the connector to the electrical conductor.
