    Abstract: The present invention discloses a composition for use in a foam dispenser comprising: 0.1-5% (w/w) hydrogen peroxide, 21-55% (w/w) of a C2-C6 alcohol, and 0.01-2% (w/w) of a foam booster. The foam booster is capable of providing a stable foam when dispensing a composition consisting of 36% (w/w) ethanol and 0.2% (w/w) of the foam booster from a foam dispenser. The composition provided as a foam is suitable for disinfecting skin and/or mucous membranes.
