The aquarium filter includes a first chamber, a second chamber, and a filter cartridge separating the first chamber and the second chamber. A first flow path is defined through the filter cartridge separating the first chamber and the second chamber. The aquarium filter also includes spillway defining a second flow path and an indicator positioned in the second flow path.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an animal ball. The animal ball includes a hollow sphere having a first half and a second half mate-able with said first half. The first half includes a first wall and a first rim and the second half also a second wall and a second rim. In addition, the animal ball includes a mating fastener including a first fastening portion and a second fastening portion. The first fastening portion is connected to the first wall and the second fastening portion is connected to the second wall and the first fastening portion is spaced from the first and second walls.

Abstract: A pet habitat comprising a cage structure supported on a base structure, the base structure comprising a reusable tray and a disposable liner, the disposable liner comprising a disposable tray locatable within the reusable tray and the disposable tray having two opposing sides, wherein each of the opposing sides includes a deformable pull tab to separate the disposable tray from the reusable tray.

Abstract: An animal housing assembly includes a cage assembly coupled to a base member to provide an enclosure for one or more animals to be kept in captivity. The base member includes a slidable tray coupled thereto, the tray being configured to move from a closed position to an open position to allow cleaning of the base member. When in a closed position, a portion of the tray forms a portion of the floor of the base member. When the tray moves from the closed position to the open position, the tray translates in a direction away from the base member, thereby exposing an aperture defined in the floor of the base member. The aperture may be shaped and/or sized to allow debris to fall through the floor of the base member, thereby allowing removal of unwanted debris and cleaning of the base member.

Abstract: A locking mechanical and electrical connector for joining two sections of an artificial holiday tree includes an upper and a lower part that thread to a joined configuration from a separated configuration and locked in the joined position by a ball detent. Once completely joined, electrical contacts carried by the upper part are in electrical contact with electrical contacts carried by the lower part. The electrical wiring of the upper and lower parts is managed using harnesses and kept electrically separated from the two sections of the artificial tree. In joining of tree tubing sections, the weight of the upper section helps drive the rotation of the upper part with respect to the lower part, assisted by the low friction design of the threaded connection and the ball contact between the upper part electrical contacts and the interface surface of the lower part.

Abstract: An animal housing assembly includes a cage coupled to a base assembly to provide an enclosure for one or more animals to be kept in captivity. The cage is collapsible such that the cage may transition from an expanded state, wherein the cage may cooperate with the base assembly to form an enclosure for an animal, to a collapsed state, wherein portions of the cage may fold into one another into a compact condition. The base assembly may transition from an assembled state, wherein first and second base members are releasably coupled to one another to form the base assembly, to a disassembled state, wherein the first and second base members are separated from one another, thereby allowing a more compact condition.
