  • Patent number: 4327827
Abstract: A vibratory feeder with a transport chute mounted on a supporting frame and drive connected with said frame. The bottom of the transport chute is concave at said inlet means and convex at said outlet means has a shape similar to that of a horizontal stylized letter "S". A concave portion of the bottom of the transport chute is located near a feed delivery end, and a convex portion near a discharge end. The bottom of the chutes, its convex portion, is provided with a profile lining with a low coeficient of friction. The feeder has a built in screen in the convex portion of the bottom.

  • Patent number: 4257649
Abstract: The invention solves the problem of eliminating the transfer of the combine eight onto a conveyor through a chain instead of through a railing, in the combines which are advanced by means of a link chain meshing with a rack fixed alongside of the conveyor. To this end the slide skid (7) forcing the chain (1) to mesh with the rack (8) is provided with a tubular slipper (10). The tubular slipper (10) encloses a railing (11) situated in the gates of the conveyor (9) close to the rack (8). The tubular slipper (10) is mounted on a cranked axle (12). The cranked axle (12) has - on the end of the pin embedded in the slide skid (7) - a splined tip (16) embedded in a grooved hole (17) which has a common geometrical axis (15) with the pin of the cranked axle (12), the said pin being embedded in the slide skid (7). The tubular slipper (10) mounted on the pin (14) of the cranked axle (12) is protected against slipping off into the tubular slipper (10).

  • Patent number: 4240668
Abstract: A driving device for a mining machine comprising an endless link chain exded on a drive wheel, a reversible wheel and a plurality of directing wheels and co-operating with a rack fixed alongside the conveyor. The directing wheels are each composed of two toothed rings separated by a circumferential groove. The outline of the teeth of the wheels is formed of sections of the sides of a regular polygon circumscribed on a circle, the tips of the teeth being truncated. In the intertooth spaces the wheel is provided with recesses below the pitch circle. The links of the chain lying in a plane parallel to the axis of the wheel seat on the flanks of two neighboring teeth, whereas the links lying in a plane perpendicular to the axis are seated in the circumferential groove. The reversible wheel has a shape identical to that of the directing wheels.

  • Patent number: 4240666
Abstract: A device for mining thick coal strata comprising a plough pressed in the ion of the floor by a ram, whereas in the vicinity of the roof the plough is pressed by a unit fixed to a canopy of the lining. The unit is provided with guides on which the plough is supported through a slide. A lever of a distributor is deflected by the plough and causes the unit to extend by an amount equal to the web of the plough.

  • Patent number: 4204949
Abstract: The device for wet classification of a mixture of solid components with rect to size, according to the invention, has two circular chutes "2" and "2a" situated tangently next to each other at the same level and equipped with one common feeding nozzle "3". In the outer walls of the chutes "2" and "2a" in the region of their contact there is a distributing hole "5" in which, opposite the inlet of the feeding nozzle "3", there is the dividing wedge "6". The device has separate sieve planes "1" and "1a" fastened to the inner edges of the bottoms of the circular chutes "2" and "2a". A vibratory unit "7" is located on the central vertical axis of each sieve plane.

  • Patent number: 4071440
Abstract: Method of separation of a mixture of mineral grains with differentiated sific gravity, under the conditions of a restricted sedimentation, in a cylindrical device, consists therein that the mixture A of the mineral with water is radially supplied to a trough 2 formed around the upper edge of the wall 1 of the water box. The mineral circulating in the trough 2 is desludged and partially separated according to the weight of the grains, and then, under pulsating action of the water, is displaced in a ring-shaped working trough along spiral trajectories towards the conduit 17 and 19 taking out the light fraction D and towards the conduits with a flap 16 for discharge of the heavy fraction C. The pulsating motion of the water is effected by compressed air being cyclically fed to the ring-shaped air chamber 6 via the pulsation valves 14 from a ring-shaped tank 5 arranged around the water box. From the air chamber 6 additional air chambers 7 extend radially beneath the sieve deck 7.

  • Patent number: 3981799
Abstract: A Baum Jig for gravitational enrichment of minerals, particularly hard co in which a screen deck is transversely located to the axis of the jig. Air chambers are made of plates as cut-outs of a cylindrical surface. The axes of symmetry are deflected from the perpendicular by an angle of 5.degree. to 15.degree. in the direction of the mineral to be enriched. The chambers are provided with asymmetric guide vanes adjustable in the horizontal direction. The side walls of a water cistern possess at the height of the screen decks, horizontal off-sets outside the cistern. Spring-loaded protection plates are provided in the off-set supports. The lower edge of one wall of each chamber is shaped as a conduit of back water provided from the bottom with a deflectable arched diaphragm.
