Abstract: The invention relates to interfering RNAs (siRNAs, shRNAs or pre-miRNAs) directed against conserved regions of the mRNA of the N gene encoding the morbillivirus nucleoprotein. The invention also relates to the use of said interfering RNAs for the production of medicaments for use in the treatment or prevention of a morbillivirus infection.
