Abstract: The invention is dealing with compounds of the formula: ##STR1## and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, in which R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each represent a lower alkyl radical or a phenyl radical, or, together with the carbon atom to which they are bound, a cycloalkyl radical having at the most 7 carbon atoms; R.sub.3 represents hydrogen, a lower alkyl radical, or the phenyl radical; R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 each represent a lower alkyl radical, or, together with the nitrogen atom to which they are bound, a heterocyclic amino radical such as the pyrrolidinyl or morpholino radicals; and R.sub.6 represents a lower alkyl radical, a phenyl radical, a benzyl radical, or the 1-ethynyl-cyclohexyl radical, which compounds can be used in the treatment of angina pectoris.

Abstract: The present invention relates to derivatives of 4-cyclohexyl-1-naphthalene-acetic acid of formula ##STR1## wherein R is a lower alkyl group and pharmaceutically acceptable salts and derivatives thereof the invention also relates to pharmaceutic compositions containing such derivatives.These derivatives are useful as drugs, notably for the treatment of inflammatory syndromes.

These compounds are represented by the formula: ##STR1## in which A stands for an oxygen or sulfur heteroatom; R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each H, lower alkyl or aryl such as phenyl; X is H, a halogen atom such as chlorine or fluorine or a lower alkyl.Compounds according to the invention are useful as stimulating agents for vigilance, as psycho-stimulators and genesic stimulators.

Abstract: 2-(2-Hydroxyethyl)tetrahydro-1,4-oxazines and quaternary salts thereof having the formula: ##STR1## WHEREIN Ar and Ar.sub.1 are the same or different and are unsubstituted and substituted aryl, said substituent being a halogen atom, R represents a lower alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R.sub.1 is zero when X.sup.(-) is zero or is an alkyl group of from 1 to 4 carbon atoms which is the same or different from R, as defined above, and X.sup.(-) is zero when R.sub.1 is zero or is selected from the group consisting of Cl.sup.(-), Br.sup.(-), I.sup.(-) and CH.sub.3 SO.sub.4.sup.(-) when R.sub.1 is lower alkyl, as defined above, is described. These compounds are useful for treating spasmodic syndromes.

Abstract: The invention provides a process for the preparation of a complete extract of pilewort roots, used in cosmetological compositions, which consists of first subjecting the dried and ground roots to an extraction with 35.degree.-45.degree. C petroleum ether and then treating the insoluble powder by extraction with an aqueous lower alcohol. After having removed the insoluble impurities by filtration, the filtrate is treated with papaine and is concentrated to a solids content of 40 to 50%. Aqueous alcohol is then added to the concentrated extract and the deposit thus formed is removed by decantation when cold, leaving the desired extract.

Abstract: This invention relates to a new group of substituted cysteines having the general formula: ##STR1## in which: Ar is an aromatic or heteromonocyclic group, such as 2-thienyl or phenyl, which may be substituted by a halogen atom or by a lower alkyl or alkoxy group, and R is a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group.These compounds are of use in human therapeutics as liquifiers for bronchal secretions in complaints of the respiratory passage and, in particular, in chronic bronchitis.The invention also relates to a method of preparing these compounds and to the application of these compounds, particularly in human therapeutics.
