In particular, it relates to the use of one or more of V65 vitronectin fragment or fragments, variants or degradation products thereof; complement fragment C3f or fragments, variants or degradation products thereof; or a decreased concentration of CTAPIII protein or fragments, variants or degradation products thereof, as a marker of osteoarthritis.
