Patents Assigned to Centre National de le Recherche Scientifique
  • Patent number: 10266569
Abstract: The invention related to isolated peptides including a binding domain of the viral phosphoprotein (P) subunit to the viral RNA free nucleoprotein (N0) which has the property to inhibit the replication of viruses from the subfamily Paramyxovirinae (like Henipavirus, Rubulavirus or Morbillivirus). These isolated peptides may be used for the prevention or the treatment of Paramyxovirinae infection.

  • Publication number: 20130125873
Abstract: A solar receiver for a thermal power plant including a plurality of absorber modules, each absorber module including at least one face configured to be illuminated by a solar flux, wherein the modules are arranged side by side forming a paving. Each absorber module further includes its own fluid circuit in which a fluid to be heated by the solar flux can flow, the fluid circuits of the absorber modules being connected to one another.

  • Publication number: 20120322060
Abstract: A method of diagnosing depression in a subject, comprising analyzing a biological sample from a subject in need of diagnosis of depression for the expression of spadin, detecting and measuring the amount of spadin in the sample, and diagnosing depression in the subject if an increase or a decrease in spadin expression in the biological sample is detected compared to a control, is described as are methods for monitoring treatment, remission and the course of the disease. Related kits are also described. Also described is a method for identifying candidate compounds for treating depression.

  • Publication number: 20110105704
Abstract: The present invention discloses post-metallocene complexes based on sterically encumbered bi- and tri-dentate naphthoxy-imine ligands. It also relates to the use of such post-metallocene complexes in the oligomerisation of ethylene to selectively prepare vinyl-end capped linear alpha-olefins.

  • Patent number: 7718773
Abstract: A protein includes or is formed by: (i) SEQ ID NO: 1; (ii) any sequence that is derived from sequence SEQ ID NO: 1, for example, by the substitution, removal or addition of one or more amino acids, on the condition that the derivative sequence binds to the phosphate; (iii) any sequence that is homologous to sequence SEQ ID NO: 1, preferably having a homology of at least approximately 80% with sequence SEQ ID NO: 1, on the condition that the homologous sequence binds to the phosphate; or (iv) any fragment of one of the aforementioned sequences on the condition that the fragment binds to the phosphate, such as any fragment comprising at least approximately 20 contiguous amino acids in sequence SEQ ID NO: 1.

  • Patent number: 7038631
Abstract: The invention relates to an antenna comprising: a first electroconductive surface; a second electroconductive surface which forms a ground plane and is parallel to the first; a first electroconductive feed belt or wire connecting a first terminal of a generator/receiver to the first surface, the second surface being connected to the second terminal of the generator/receiver, and at least one second electroconductive wire or ribbon connecting said two surfaces. The antenna is characterized in that the first surface comprises a blank, or a series of blanks, each blank optionally consisting of mutually extending sections. Said blank(s) extend in the vicinity of and along part of the edge of the first surface 2 which is broad enough for the blank(s) to define an inner area of the first surface by substantially forming a majority of the periphery of this area, thereby obtaining a multi-frequency wire-plate operation.

  • Patent number: 5145513
Abstract: A process for the preparation of composite materials consisting essentially of an oxide phase and a metal phase is effected by grinding a mixture of at least one oxide precursor of the metal phase of the composite with at least one reducing agent, the reducing agent being a precursor of the oxide phase. The grinding being performed in a high energy mechanical grinder for a sufficient length of time so that at least 80 percent of the oxide precursor is reduced to metal or to a metal alloy. The process is particularly valuable for the preparation of oxide/metal composite materials which have improved mechanical, electrical or radiation absorption properties.
