Patents Assigned to Centre Technique Cuir Chaussure
  • Patent number: 5512058
Abstract: A process for the treatment of products constituted by hides and skins with a view towards their transformation into leather, and for the treatment of leather which involves contacting the product with a dense, pressurized fluid, such as CO.sub.2, in the supercritical state or pressurized liquid, which optionally contains one or more active substances and a specified pressure Pi and temperature Ti, in order to provide degreasing of the skins if pure dense fluid is used, or to impregnate the products with active substances such as tanning, stiffening, dyeing or waterproofing agents. The products are subsesquently brought to atmospheric pressure to eliminate the dense fluid therefrom.

  • Patent number: 5174030
Abstract: An apparatus for measuring the length or perimeter of an object has a main housing part provided with a main abutment and forming a main attachment location and a movable housing part provided with a movable abutment normally spaced longitudinally from the main abutment and with a movable location forming a guide. The movable part is longitudinally displaceable on the main housing part so as to displace the abutments longitudinally relative to each other and also to displace the locations longitudinally relative to each other. A flexible but substantially inextensible element has an outer end fixed to the main attachment location and an outer portion extending between the locations, passes through the guide at the movable location, has an intermediate portion guided in the movable part, and has an inner portion extending in the main portion and an inner end.

  • Patent number: 5048455
Abstract: A continuous finishing process for flexible materials using a continuous printing machine of the thousand dot type. A small controlled amount of a finishing product, comprising 90 to 100% of photopolymerizable active material, is deposited at a rate of 5 to 35 g/m.sup.2 per pass in the printing machine. The finishing product is then photopolymerized, and a satining or graining operation is performed. The above stages are repeated until the desired finish is obtained. The finishing product is photopolymerizable under ultraviolet radiation and comprises unsaturated prepolymers, liquid monomers, and photoinitiators. The apparatus comprises at least one module comprising a continuous printing machine, an ultraviolet radiation oven, and a satining or graining machine, these various machines being placed so as to achieve a continuous conveying of pieces to be treated from one machine to the other.
