Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a system for the certification of a product to be shipped wherein the latter is associated with a tag meant to be queried by several devices before and after shipment to determine whether the data contained therein remain unchanged after the shipment of the product.
Abstract: A method and system for verifying authenticity of items sold online through e-commerce sites are described. A verification server performs a post purchase authentication of products previously pre-authenticated by the seller. The pre-authentication includes a verification of whether a code matches with a corresponding item as indicated by the seller.
