Abstract: An installation for coating food products with a fluid substance, such as a fluid mixture, comprises a frame provided with an endless conveyor belt that allows the substance through, which conveyor belt has a lower part and an upper part, on which upper part the products can be accommodated and can be transported, as well as a buffer below the upper part of the conveyor belt for forming a quantity of the substance, such that the upper part of the conveyor belt can be guided through said quantity of substance. The buffer which is located below the upper part of the conveyor belt can be tilted about a pivot shaft transverse with respect to, and parallel to, the conveyor belt.

Abstract: An installation for coating food products with a layer of coating substance, such as for coating a meat product or a vegetable product with a batter, comprises a container in which the coating substance can be accommodated, two endless conveyor belts located one above the other, those parts of which that face one another extending through the container enclosing a gap for feeding the food products through the coating substance, as well as adjustment means for moving the conveyor belts apart or towards one another in connection with adjustment of the width of the gap. The adjustment means have a central control for adjusting the width of the gap.

Abstract: An air unit for the removal of excess particulate coating material that is present on products which are in a coating machine comprises, for blowing surplus particulate material off the products, at least one suction member for drawing off air, with particulate material present therein, from the coating machine, separating means for removing particulate material from the air drawn off, and circulating means for feeding at least a portion of the air drawn off to the blowing member.

Abstract: An oven including a housing, a heater for heating the interior space of the housing, and a conveyor belt which extends between an inlet and an outlet of the housing, for passing products which are to be heated through the interior space, which conveyor belt has at least one helical path with turns which are situated above one another and are supported by guides, which extend in a corresponding way to the turns and are supported by bearing arms transversely below the turns. A collector is also provided for the collection of liquids which may accumulate on the bearing arms and/or guides.
