Abstract: The application relates to roof segments for constructing a roof of a carriage body for a rail vehicle for passenger transport, in particular for use in short-haul operation, such as underground and suburban trains, the rail vehicles or the train units formed by same must be accelerated and decelerated at short intervals. The roof segments are designed in the form of plates, shells or half-shells and consist of an outer wall and an inner wall at a distance to same. At least two roof segments are configured in such a way that the protruding region of the outer wall or inner wall of one roof segment is interlockingly, force-lockingly and/or integrally connected to the non-protruding region of the outer wall or inner wall of the neighbouring roof segment. The roof segments consist at least partially of a fibre-reinforced plastic composite.
Abstract: The invention relates to a head module for a rail vehicle, said head module being suitable to be detachably fixed to the front face of a subsequent railcar unit without additional underframe. The head module consists of an inner and an outer shell and includes three systems which convert, in the event of a crash, the collision energy into a deformation one after the other or simultaneously and substantially independently of another.
Abstract: The application relates to a crash system for the head module of a rail vehicle, said head module being detachably fixed to the front face of a subsequent railcar unit without additional underframe. The crash system has a crash conduction element that carries a crash box at its front end and the back end of which is fixed to the underframe support of the subsequent railcar unit. In the event of a crash, crash forces are thus absorbed by the underframe of the subsequent railcar unit.
Abstract: The invention relates to bogies for railway vehicles with at least two wheelsets mounted in axleboxes and at least one transverse member. The bogies are in particular characterized in that they have a lightweight design and can be produced at low cost. The axleboxes of a wheelset are articulated to the transverse member via two axle levers so that the axle levers form an H shape with the axleboxes and the transverse member. The transverse member has at least two torsion bars arranged in parallel to the axles of the wheelsets, said torsion bars being firmly connected to the transverse member. The torsion bars have spring levers so that the end portion of the spring lever not connected to the torsion bar acts upon the axlebox.
