Abstract: A topical composition comprising (a) an extract of bidens pilosa; (b) isoprenylcysteine; and (c) a dermatologically acceptable carrier is disclosed. The isoprenylcysteine has a concentration from about 0.1 w/v % to about 10 w/v %. A method of using the topical composition to treat an area of skin to reduce DNA fragmentation is also disclosed.
Abstract: Exemplary skin care compositions and methods of using such compositions are provided. In one embodiment, a topical composition includes extract of bidens pilosa, centella asiatica leaf cell extract, and a dermatologically acceptable carrier.
