Abstract: An immovable price checker (1) with an angle-adjustable scanner is installed on a wall for scanning barcodes of an article and includes a base (10), a scanner (20), a processor (30), a displayer (40) and a pivoting means (50). The base (10) is fixed to the wall. The scanner (20) is connected to the base (10) for scanning the barcodes of the article. The processor (30) is electrically connected to the scanner (20). The displayer (40) is fixed to the base (10) and electrically connected to the processor (30). The displayer (40) is configured to display data processed by the processor (30). The pivoting means (50) is connected between the base (10) and the scanner (20). The scanner (20) is rotatable with respect to the base (10) by using the pivoting means (50) as a center of rotation to thereby adjust the angle of the scanner (20). Thus, the convenience and practicability of the present invention are improved greatly.
Abstract: A system for an asset monitor includes a reader, a tag, and a router. The router actively transmits a location identification to the tag in a coverage area by using a radio frequency (RF). The tag is mounted on an article (or a user). The tag directly sends a signal to the reader or indirectly forwards to the reader via the router when the location identification of the tag is different from a current location identification or the location identification is repeatedly received up to a preset value. The sent signal includes a location identification and a current location identification that are received by the reader to determine the location of the article.
