  • Patent number: 9977891
Abstract: An anonymous authentication method is implemented by an authentication device that has a key array. The key array has multiple array dimensions each having multiple device keys. The method includes: receiving ciphertexts from a chip that has multiple chip keys; acquiring authentication keys by: for each of the ciphertexts, performing trails of decryption using the device keys of one of the array dimensions that corresponds to one of the chip keys used to generate the ciphertext one by one until obtaining one of the device keys that successfully decrypts the ciphertext to serve as one of the authentication keys; and obtaining, for authentication, information associated with the chip according to the authentication keys.

  • Patent number: 8929447
Abstract: In an image deblurring method, an image processor determines an absolute difference between a pixel value of each pixel in a current image frame and a pixel value of a corresponding pixel in a reference image frame to obtain a total absolute difference corresponding to the current image frame by summing up the absolute differences corresponding respectively the pixels of the current image frame. When the total absolute difference is smaller than a predetermined first threshold value and not smaller than a predetermined third threshold value, the image processor generates an interpolated image frame based on the current and reference image frames using one of unidirectional motion estimation and bidirectional motion estimation.

  • Patent number: 8538080
Abstract: In a flame identification method and device for identifying any flame image in a plurality of frames captured consecutively from a monitored area, for each image frame, intensity foreground pixels are obtained based on intensity values of pixels, a fire-like image region containing the intensity foreground pixels is defined when an intensity foreground area corresponding to the intensity foreground pixels is greater than a predetermined intensity foreground area threshold, and saturation foreground pixels are obtained from all pixels in the fire-like image region based on saturation values thereof to obtain a saturation foreground area corresponding to the saturation foreground pixels. Linear regression analyses are performed on two-dimensional coordinates each formed by the intensity and saturation pixel areas associated with a corresponding image frame to generate a determination coefficient.

  • Publication number: 20120209427
Abstract: A manipulator with three degrees of freedom includes three actuators connected to a moving platform at angularly spaced apart positions that form vertices of a first regular triangle and connected to a base platform at angularly spaced apart positions that form vertices of a second regular triangle. A normal line through a centroid of the first regular triangle is aligned with a normal line through a centroid of the second regular triangle when the moving platform is at an initial position. A control method for the manipulator includes configuring the manipulator to compute respective lengths of the actuators based upon a desired roll angle, a desired pitch angle and a desired heave height, and to set the actuators to the respective lengths so that the moving platform moves to the desired roll angle, the desired pitch angle, and the desired heave height with respect to the base platform.

  • Patent number: 8189784
Abstract: A communication system includes encoding and decoding devices. The encoding device includes an encrypting module adapted for encrypting an original signal into an encrypted signal, and an error correction encoding module coupled to the encrypting module for receiving the encrypted signal therefrom, and generating an output signal by performing error correction encoding on the encrypted signal. The decoding device includes an error correction decoding module for receiving an input signal via a transmission channel, and a decrypting module. The input signal is a result of the output signal combined with noise. The error correction decoding module generates a recovery signal from the input signal by performing error correction decoding on the input signal. The decrypting module is coupled to the error correction decoding module for receiving the recovery signal therefrom, and generates a decrypted signal that corresponds to the original signal by decrypting a portion of the recovery signal.
