Abstract: The present invention discloses an electric scooter. The electric scooter comprises a body substrate, a support rod, a front wheel, a rear wheel and a fold mechanism; the front wheel is an in-wheel motor, the body substrate can fold close to the support rod with the rear wheel by means of the fold mechanism; the support rod is internally provided with a controller which is connected with the in-wheel motor, the front wheel is rotated to trigger the controller, thus the controller controls the in-wheel motor to rotate; the support rod has a retractable rod body, and handlebars are foldable. According to the present invention, the electric scooter cannot only be folded to the greatest extent, which saves a space to the greatest extent after being folded and is easy to carry, it also can be half-folded to facilitate carrying by hands, and can generate a driving assistance to enable the body to slide further as well.
