The method includes: selecting one or more windows to be rendered on the touch screen and a display order associated with the selected windows; determining a respective display location for each of the selected windows based at least in part on the display order and a total number of the selected windows; and rendering the selected windows on the touch screen according to their respective display locations in a card fan manner.

Abstract: A method and a device for starting an application under a screen-locked state, which are applied in an electronic device, said method comprising: detecting whether the electronic device is under the screen lock state; receiving a sliding operation instruction with respect to an icon of the application to be started; providing memory resources for starting the application to be started, if a sliding operation with respect to the icon of the application to be started satisfies a first predetermined condition; performing a screen unlocking operation and starting the application to be started, if the sliding operation with respect to the icon of the application to be started satisfies a second predetermined condition. With embodiments of the present disclosure, it is convenient for a user to start the application under the screen lock state, an efficiency of starting the application may be enhanced and an experience effect of the user may be improved.

Abstract: A method and a device for clearing data, and an electronic device are disclosed in embodiments of the present disclosure. The method includes: launching a target application; acquiring a clearing instruction; judging whether the operation system is of a preset version or of a higher version than the preset version; judging whether an auxiliary permission is available; if the operation system is of a lower version than the preset version, or if the operation system is of the preset version or the higher version and the auxiliary permission is unavailable, triggering the target application to clear data stored in the electronic device; and if the operation system is of the preset version or of the higher version and the auxiliary permission is available, invoking a system clearing interface of the electronic device, simulating a click on the system clearing interface, so as to trigger and start a system clearing progress.

Abstract: A method for cleaning files stored in a mobile terminal is disclosed. The mobile terminal receives a file cleaning instruction from a user. In response to the file cleaning instruction, the mobile terminal identifies cache files based on the cache files' associated information and past user activities on the cache files and groups the identified cache files and their associated information into multiple cache file categories. At least one of the multiple cache file categories is located in an extended storage device of the mobile terminal (e.g., a SD card). Next, the mobile terminal displays information of the multiple cache file categories on the display, each cache file category having an associated file cleaning option and cleans at least one of the multiple cache file categories from the mobile terminal in accordance with a user choice of the corresponding file cleaning option.

Abstract: A method for managing power usage is perform at a mobile terminal having one or more processors and memory storing programs executed by the one or more processors. The mobile terminal collects its operating environment information while the mobile terminal is in a first operating mode. The mobile terminal compares the collected operating environment information with a plurality of power usage switch conditions, each power usage switch condition having an associated operating mode, to determine whether the collected operating environment information matches one of the plurality of power usage switch conditions. When this happens, the mobile terminal determines its current working status and switches from the first operating mode to the second operating mode when there is no conflict between the mobile terminal's current working status and the second operating mode associated with the matched power usage switch condition.
