Abstract: A micro-laboratory system for performing chemical, mechanical and electrical experiments includes a set of experiment chips and a test system. Each experiment chip includes chemical, mechanical, or electrical experiments and the test system is configured to receive the experiment chips and to perform the chemical, mechanical, or electrical experiments comprised in the experiment chips. The system also includes fluidic and electrical interfaces connecting the experiment chips and the test system. A computing unit connects and communicates with the test system, and runs applications that provide instructions for selecting, designing and performing experiments, analyzing experimental results and explaining relevant principles of the experiments.
