Abstract: Provided are aqueous fluororesin coating compositions including a water-soluble polyamideimide resin, a polyetherimide, and a fluororesin. Also provided are coatings on substrates formed from the coating composition and coated substrates, the coatings being strongly adhered to the substrates and having excellent water vapor and corrosion resistance. The coatings are of utility for metal substrates, for example cookware such as a frying pans and rice cookers.

Abstract: Provided is a melt processible fluororesin molded article with reduced metal ions after molding (eluted metal ions) and submicron size fine particles. The melt processible fluororesin molded article has an amount of eluted Ni ions (in pg/cm2) and amount of eluted Cr ions (in pg/cm2) and amount of eluted Mo ions (in pg/cm2) in a test solution after eluting for 20 hours at 60° C. using 12% nitric acid, quantitatively analyzed by the ICP (induced coupled plasma) mass analysis method, satisfy the following formula: 0.5?1?[(M1+M2)/(M1+M2+M3)]<1, wherein M1 refers to the eluted Cr ion amount (in pg/cm2), M2 refers to the eluted Mo ion amount (in pg/cm2), and M3 refers to the eluted Ni ion amount (in pg/cm2).
Abstract: A PFA molded article of a copolymer (PFA) of tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) and perfluoro(alkylvinyl ether) (PAVE), the content of the PAVE therein being from 1 to 10% by mol, characterized in that the PFA molded article has a flex life value of not less than 2,000,000 times, a zero share viscosity of from 10,000 to 20,000 Pa·s, and a heating weight loss of not more than 0.05% by weight, and a process for the production thereof. The PFA molded article has a high flex life value, a low heating weight loss and a low zero share viscosity yet maintaining excellent mechanical properties such as tensile strength, etc., and can be produced in good yields.
Abstract: Provided is a fluororesin coating composition for forming a topcoat having improved non-tackiness and water and oil repellency. The fluororesin is crystalline tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoro(ethyl vinyl ether) copolymer having a perfluoro(ethyl vinyl ether) content of 8 to 20 mass % based on the total mass of the copolymer.

Abstract: Provided is a large-size injection molded article which is obtained by injection molding a composition containing a heat-meltable fluoropolymer. Specifically, provided is a large-size injection molded article, which can be molded at a lower injection pressure as compared with a conventional PFA and obtained by molding a composition superior in mold release characteristics from a metal mold. This large-size injection molded article is superior in, particularly, heat resistance and chemical resistance, as well as dimensional accuracy, for a substrate processing apparatus. Provided is an injection molded article, having a projection area in an injection direction of 1100 cm2 or more, obtained by injection molding a composition containing a heat-meltable fluoropolymer. It is a preferable aspect that the composition including a heat-meltable fluoropolymer is a composition containing a melt moldable tetrafluoroethylene/fluoroalkoxytrifluoroethylene copolymer having an MFR over 60 g/10 minutes.
