Abstract: A polysaccharide polymers modified with ?, ?-unsaturated organic acids, production processes for the polymers and uses thereof, and emulsifying bases and production processes therefor. The polymers are produced by tetrasaccharides containing residues of ?-L-rhamnose, ?-D-glucuronic acid and ?-D-glucose modified with itaconic acid by graft polymerization processes and a use of the polymers is as alternatives sustainable compared to polyacrylics commonly used in the cosmetics, pharmacy, veterinary and home care industries.
