Abstract: A liquid crystal display panel and a liquid crystal display apparatus are disclosed. The apparatus comprises a liquid crystal display panel, a backlight module and a composite tape. The composite tape is assembled to the liquid crystal display panel and the backlight module, wherein the composite tape comprises an insulating layer, a first adhesive layer and an electrically conductive layer. The first adhesive layer is formed at one side of the insulating layer. The electrically conductive layer is formed at another side of the insulating layer, wherein the electrically conductive layer is in touch with an electrically conductive element of the liquid crystal display apparatus to be connected to ground.
Abstract: A liquid crystal display (LCD) includes a pixel array substrate, an opposite substrate and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the pixel array substrate and the opposite substrate. The opposite substrate has a common electrode. The pixel array substrate has a plurality of pixel regions, a plurality of first pixel electrodes and a plurality of second pixel electrodes. Within each of the pixel regions, a corresponding first pixel electrode and a corresponding second pixel electrode are disposed, wherein each of the second pixel electrodes entirely encloses the corresponding first pixel electrode and is separated from the corresponding first pixel electrode.
Abstract: A color filter substrate and applications thereof are disclosed. The color filter substrate comprises a transparent substrate, a light-shade layer, a color filter layer and an electrode layer. The light-shade layer and the color filter layer are disposed on the transparent substrate. The electrode layer is formed on the light-shade layer and the color filter layer, wherein the electrode layer comprises at least one first electrode region, at least one second electrode region, at least one slit and at least one connecting portion. The first electrode region and the second electrode region are separated by the slit. The connecting portion is connected between the first electrode region and the second electrode region. The color filter substrate is applicable to a liquid crystal display panel and a liquid crystal display (LCD) apparatus.
Abstract: A color filter substrate, a method for manufacturing the same, and a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel using the same are provided. The color filter substrate includes a base material, a filter structure, and a common electrode layer. The filter structure includes a sheltering matrix and a plurality of color filter layers. The sheltering matrix disposed above the base material includes a black resin layer and a conducting material layer. The black resin layer has a plurality of openings for exposing a partial surface of the base material. The conducting material layer is disposed on the black resin layer. The color filter layers are disposed in the plurality of openings of the black resin layer. The common electrode layer is disposed on the filter structure.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a display panel comprising a circuit structure, which comprises at least one data line and a pixel electrode. There is a dummy data line provided between the pixel electrode and the data line, wherein the data line has at least two protrusions extending to the corresponding position of the dummy data line. When the data line is disconnected, repair can be made by welding the protrusions and the dummy data line by laser, and thus no extra circuit is needed.
Abstract: An alignment film for avoiding the degradation of the charge holding rate of a LCD, due to ionic impurity of the liquid crystal materials, and the LCD that is made of the same is disclosed herein. The alignment film 10 includes derivatives of polyimides or polyamides and low molecular thermosetting resins having a viscosity of 1–3000 Poise within the temperature of 25° C. Through the use of the alignment film 10 produced by the thermosetting resin monomers, the ionic impurity is prevented from contact with the pixel electrode 16. The performance of the LCD with the alignment film is improved during the test of reliability, even though a liquid crystal material with high dielectric anisotropy is used.
