  • Patent number: 9169868
Abstract: A movable member of a linear slide assembly includes a slide member having two legs to mount the slide member to a rail. Two covers are respectively connected to two ends of the slide member. A track is formed between the legs of the slide member and the rail. Rolling members are installed in the circulation path of the slide assembly and drive the movable member along the rail back and forth. Two reinforcement plates are respectively connected to outside of the two covers and each reinforcement plate has a side plate and two bent extensions which are fixed to the legs of the slide member. The bent extensions each have an engaging portion which is engaged with the protrusion on the slide member. The engaging portions bear axial force applied to the rolling members to secure the connection between the covers and the slide member.

  • Patent number: 8757879
Abstract: A roller maintaining chain includes an elongate strip having multiple holes separated by separation blocks. Each hole has a hole face perpendicular to the elongate strip. Each separation block has a top separation block and a bottom separation block. Each of the top and bottom separation blocks has an accommodating surface which has a flat surface and an inclined stop surface. A part of each accommodating surface is perpendicular to planes on the axial direction of the elongate strip. The flat surfaces of the top and bottom separation blocks are smoothly connected to each other. The inclined stop surfaces are inclined toward the top direction of the holes to maintain the rollers in the holes. The method for making the roller maintaining chain uses a left mold and a right mold, the two molds are split inclinedly and laterally to obtain the roller maintaining chain.

  • Patent number: 8408796
Abstract: A distortable rolling element retainer belt and a linear motion guide apparatus include a flat belt with holes defined therein and a separating portion is located between the adjacent holes. An upper spacer and a lower spacer are connected to each separating portion and a recess is defined between each separating portion and the upper spacer as well as between each separating portion and the lower spacer. The two recesses are located at different sides of the upper and the lower spacers so that the spacers on the rolling element retainer belt can be distorted to overcome the resistance from bending when the rolling elements traveling in a circulating passage which is not perpendicular to the surface of the rolling element retainer belt.

  • Patent number: 7465092
Abstract: A ball chain comprises a sequence of balls and an longitudinally elongated spacing chain having a sequence of holes thereon for receiving the balls. The spacing chain further includes a sequence of spacers interposed between the balls whereby the balls will be separated to each other, at least two longitudinally extended flexible strip and a plurality of transverse flexible connecting beam whose two ends respectively are connected to the longitudinal flexible strip, whereby the spacers attach to said connecting beam through an elastic member. The spacers can accordingly deflect and twist freely and the transverse flexible connecting beam can keep as long as possible and provide the best flexibility for being bent in various directions. Therefore, the ball chain can run in a three-dimensionally direction-chain recirculation channel smoothly and with low resistance.

  • Patent number: 6170986
Abstract: A linear motion guide device includes a rail, a slider and a plurality of rolling elements. Two identical injection molded side frames having two end-plates with convex half-roundness on both ends of a longitudinal arranged profiled member with the same length as steel body, are bilaterally attached to the outside of the elongation of the steel body and the steel body is longitudinally situates inside and attached to the endplate. At least one return passage of the rolling elements is provided outside of the elongation of the steel body. A pair of end caps with concave half-roundness and end seals is externally attached to the endplates. The steel body, the side frames, and the end caps having means for attachment are therefore properly positioned to each other. A compact sealing design is also provided.
