Abstract: An eyeglass retainer is disclosed which comprises a filament member having gripping members connected at either end of the filament member, the gripping members being structured for securement to the terminal end of earpieces for eyeglasses. Each gripping member is structured with a plurality of openings through which the terminal end of eyeglasses may be positioned to provide a variety of ways that the retainer may be attached to the glasses. The eyeglass retainer may further include one or more contact members for contacting and engaging a portion of the glasses to facilitate attachment of the eyeglass retainer to the glasses.

Abstract: A timing chip-engaging retainer device is disclosed which is structured to releasably and selectively engage a timing device or chip of the type worn by athletes in endurance races or other timed sporting activities so that the timing chip may be easily and quickly attached to the athlete's apparel, such as an athletic shoe, and easily and quickly detached from the athlete's apparel without cutting or otherwise harming the athlete's apparel, as is currently the practice in removing timing chips from athletic shoes.

Abstract: A wristband or watchband is disclosed having a first band sized for encircling a wearer's wrist, a watch-engaging member and a protective cover for securing over the watch, or other measuring device or ornament, to protect it from exposure or damage. The configuration of the wristband of the present invention facilitates attachment of the wristband to the wearer's wrist and reduces the cost of manufacture in comparison to similar watchbands previously known.

Abstract: A pouch for retaining small articles or money is disclosed having a key-concealing mechanism associated with a secondary enclosure in which one or more keys may be retained in a concealed fashion until such time as the key or keys are desired for use. The key-concealing mechanism of the present invention is structured to slidably move the key or keys from a position of concealment within the secondary enclosure to a position outside the secondary enclosure where the key or keys can be accessed for use.

Abstract: A watchband or decorative wristband is structured with a concealed money-retaining compartment which allows the wearer to store money on the wearer's person without having to remove articles of clothing or otherwise partially disrobe in an effort to retrieve the money, as is typically required with known devices for carrying concealed money on one's person. The watchband of the present invention is adaptable to any variety of watch type or style.

Abstract: An adaptor attachable to the watch casing of a watch is structured with attachment means for being secured to the watchband securement means of the watch casing, and is further structured with watchband retaining structure which allows attachment of a watchband by means different than is provided on the watch casing. Thus, the watch casing may be converted for use with watchbands which are not configured to be attachable to that particular watch casing. Likewise, conventional watches employing pin means for attachment of the watchband may be converted to attach uniquely designed watchbands configured for attachment only to correspondingly unique watch casings.
