  • Publication number: 20020021779
Abstract: Aluminum powder, neutron absorber, and third particle composed of oxide, nitride, carbide or boride are mixed, and preformed by cold isostatic pressing (CIP). Successively, by canning the preformed material, this preformed material is sintered by hot isostatic pressing (HIP). After sintering, the can outside and end face are machined by grinding, and the billet is taken out. Square pipes are formed by extruding this billet.

  • Publication number: 20020009118
Abstract: The present invention provides an arc-melting apparatus, which attains extremely high efficiency by preheating scraps using exhaust gas from the melting chamber. The arc-melting apparatus needs for no device to carry and supply an iron source to a melting chamber, which makes it possible to preheat the next charge. The arc-melting apparatus has a melting furnace which melts scraps, a preheating shaft connected directly to an upper part of one side of the melting furnace, an arc electrode for melting scraps in the melting furnace, a bucket for supplying scraps to the preheat shaft so as to continuously maintain scraps in the melting furnace and in the preheating shaft, a tapping portion having a tapping hole, being projected outward from the melting furnace and a tilting device for tilting the melting furnace on a side of the tapping portion. The tapping portion is arranged at an orthogonal direction to the direction of the supplied cold iron source.

  • Publication number: 20010031021
Abstract: Two A/D converters sample received base band signal Sb by asynchronous sampling clock at double speed of symbol rate, and based on the sampled data series Ii, Qi. A transmission complex symbol frequency generator generates data series Ei, Di of transmission complex symbol frequency component. A correlation value calculator outputs correlation data series SMi as the correlation value of cosine wave data series Ci, and data series Ei, D1 of symbol frequency generated by a cosine wave generator, based on the asynchronous sampling clock CK. An inverse tangent calculator outputs a timing error &tgr; based on the correlation data series SMi.

  • Patent number: 6229741
Abstract: A semiconductor integrated circuit device has a RAM (1) which has a plurality of memory cell groups containing memory cells of a number corresponding to the number of words used, and a RAM (30, 40, 50, or 60) as a redundant circuit which has memory cell group containing memory cells of a number corresponding to the number of words of the RAM (1). Either one of data from the RAM (1) and data from the RAM (30, 40, 50, or 60) is selected by a selector circuit (5) to use the latter as a redundant circuit.

  • Patent number: 5123176
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a technique which comprises the steps of stopping the rotation of a treating drum in a deodorizing step, introducing the outside air into a treating tank through an upper opening provided in the upper portion of the treating tank or the upper portion of a recovery air duct, simultaneously exhausting a solvent gas from the treating tank through a lower opening provided in the lower portion of the treating tank or a button trap portion so slowly as not to agitate the solvent gas in the treating tank by an exhaust means connected to a solvent recovery device in the condition that the treating drum is stopped, in order to replace the solvent gas in the treating tank with the outside air, and reusing the solvent gas through the solvent recovery device once or several times. In addition, the present invention is further directed to an improvement of the above-mentioned technique.
