When the flexible support plate is bent, the transition area (22) gradually deforms, and the stress is also gradual, without a sudden change, that is, the stress changes relatively uniformly, thereby avoiding hard-angle bending caused by a sudden stress change during bending, and accordingly avoiding problems of film-layer separation and cracks. The flexible support plate can be applied to flexible display devices with smaller bending radii.
