Patents Assigned to Chromasens GmbH
  • Patent number: 10644410
Abstract: The invention relates to a control module for a camera and an illumination apparatus, a camera, a production system and a method for acquiring images by means of such a camera. The exposure times and illumination times are controlled on the basis of a common control clock signal. Due to this, beats can be avoided. This even applies if short flashes are executed at irregular times.

  • Patent number: 8179436
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for the scanning of a document by means of a line camera which has several scan lines and therefore generates several images independent of one another. Due to the spacing of the separate scan lines, these images are offset relative to one another. This offset also depends on the speed at which the line camera is moved relative to the document. According to the invention the separate images are brought into congruence by being shifted towards one another according to the whole-number content of Z, with at least one of the images being interpolated into the other image in accordance with the decimal place content of Z. The method according to the invention may be used to scan a document at a freely selectable scanning speed. The device according to the invention may be inserted as a module in an existing scanner.

  • Patent number: 8004725
Abstract: A device for scanning a document is provided. A document placed on a support surface is scanned line by line by a camera that is provided with an optoelectronic line sensor, and electric signals are produced. The line sensor includes a plurality of image recording elements disposed in a linear orientation. A lens system is used to image the light reflected by the document to be captured onto a part of the image recording elements.

  • Patent number: 7986446
Abstract: A method and a device for the optical scanning of a document by means of a line camera in which the document may be scanned at variable speed. Since on the one hand a line frequency by which the individual lines are scanned is based on the speed of movement, and on the other hand binning is carried out automatically on the basis of the speed of movement, wherein the line frequency is multiplied by a binning factor n, it is possible for a document to be scanned very easily and simply over a wide speed range. Color values are preferably corrected by means of an amplification factor, so that the brightness of the images produced by this means is constant over the whole speed range.

  • Patent number: 7602483
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for dark-field illumination for an optical testing device for scanning a plane surface of an object together with a method for optical scanning of a plane surface of an object in which the device according to the invention is used. The illumination device according to the invention has a reflector which has in cross-section the form of a segment of an ellipse, while the illumination device may be arranged with a first focal point of the ellipse on the surface of the object, and the light source located at a point which results from reflection of the second focal point of the ellipse on the surface of the object. By this means, dark-field illumination with a high level of illumination at the first focal point is obtained, even when the light source is located a good distance away from the object.

  • Publication number: 20090237653
Abstract: A device for recording a number of images of disk-shaped objects (6), which is provided with at least two lighting device (8), which are designed so that the light exiting the lighting devices (8) is spectrally variable. A single recording device (12) is arranged in relation to the disk-shaped object so that the recording device (12) simultaneously records a number of spectrally variable images of the disk-shaped object (6).
