    Abstract: A cable assembly is provided including an encapsulated cable having one or more elements and an intermediary section. The encapsulated cable extends along a length direction. The intermediary section extends along the length direction and is attached along a length of the encapsulated cable and extends outwardly therefrom. The intermediary section is configured to receive one or more fasteners for securing the cable assembly to an external surface without the one or more fasteners contacting the one or more elements.
