Abstract: A shelving system with removable shelves (13) comprises pairs (1) of uprights (2) that are interconnected by cross-bars (3). It is characterized in that the uprights (2) of a pair (1) are provided on their facing faces (4) with regularly spaced apart pegs (6) on which riders (8) are placed, which riders can be removed only by being lifted. The riders (8) are each provided with one or two lateral fastening lugs (9) projecting beyond the footprint of the pair (1) of uprights (2) and co-operating with respective recesses (15) situated in each of the corners (14) of each shelf (13) to support said shelf (13). The shelves are easily installed and removed without tools and cleaning is easy.

Abstract: A food container comprises a bottom (3) which is substantially rectangular and which has outwardly flared walls (4) rising therefrom and terminating in a substantially rectangular opening (7). The tops of the walls are outwardly surrounded by a horizontal rim (5) which is rectangular in shape and they are capped by a vertical rib (6) extending above the rim (5). The container has a cover (2) having a horizontal rim (8) and a vertical rib (9) extending downwardly therefrom suitable for engaging around the vertical rib (6) of the container (1). The vertical ribs (6, 9) being of substantially the same height on the container (1) and the cover (2). The vertical rib (6) on the container (1) is provided with notches (12) on at least two sides thereof, and the vertical rib (9) of the cover is provided with outwardly offset lengths (16) of reduced height disposed opposite the notches (12) in one position of the cover ( 2) and not disposed opposite the notches (12) in a second position of the cover (2).

Abstract: A cover (1) for a standard container (2), has a substantially rectangular bottom (3) and a substantially rectangular opening (4) at the top. The cover (1) includes lower rib portions (6) which are disposed in a substantially rectangular configuration with rounded corners which fit into the opening (4) of the container (2) and upper rib portions (8) which are disposed in a rectangular configuration dimensioned almost similar to those of the set of lower rib portions (6). The rib portions (6,8) are separated by gaps (7,9) which allow easy washing, and the gaps (7) of one set of rib portions (6) are not adjacent to the gaps (9) of the other set of rib portions (8). To make it easier to grip the cover (1), a portion of its edge is raised to form a handle (10) adjacent to a rib portion (8) of the upper set. Stacking of containers on covers and stacking of covers one on another is thereby greatly facilitated.

Abstract: In a conveyor plant for equipping both sides of a wall or partition in which two spaced apertures are formed to permit the free passage of the movable component elements of the conveyor plant, a pair of casings are each adapted to be clamped by means of jaws against one of the adjacent vertical edges of the aperture; a pair of flat longitudinal members are disposed against the wall and secured to the two casings at their ends, and a safety device responsive to any interference with said apertures is provided for actuating the knock-off motion of the plant by means of microswitches responsive to the movements of a flexible blade in one or the other direction.
