Abstract: The present disclosure concerns a skylight protection assembly to protect a skylight of a roof. The skylight protection assembly comprises a frame superposable to a mounting surface of the roof to surround at least partially the skylight and securable to the roof, the frame comprising at least one frame member having a roof-engaging portion, a screen-supporting portion and an outer side; a protection screen engageable with the screen-supporting portion of said at least one frame member to define with the frame a skylight protection chamber configured to contain the skylight. The frame member comprises an upper frame member, the outer side of the upper frame member having a water-flowing profile considered in a plane substantially parallel to the mounting surface of the roof. The present disclosure also concerns a method for protecting a skylight of a roof.
