Abstract: A cigar humidor is provided which effectively and conveniently humidifies cigars. The cigar humidor is preferably a square box-like shape which is bisected at diametrically opposed corners into two equal half sections. The humidor is hinged along one corner and closed along the diametrically opposed corner preferably by magnets. A support for vertically holding the cigars is attached at the hinged corner exposing all the cigars for easy accessibility when the humidor is opened by spreading apart the hinged sections. Humidifying means is provided below the lower end of the cigars and rising humid air contacts the lower end of the cigars which are supported in the humidor. The cigar support preferably has a slidable drawer at the lower end thereof to hold the humidifying means. The cigars rest in through holes which holes communicate with the humidifying means.

Abstract: An apparatus for cutting a plug from the end of a cigar comprises a housing having a hollow body portion with opposite first and second ends. The first end of the hollow body portion has a cutting edge for cutting a portion of a cigar wrapper at the end of a cigar prior to smoking. A spring-biased plunger is movable within the hollow body portion first end along a longitudinal axis thereof toward and away from the cutting edge. An elongated piercing member is attached to, and movable with, the plunger. A handle is accessible from the exterior of the housing for moving the plunger within the hollow body portion first end. The cutting edge is adaptable to cut a portion of a cigar wrapper at the end of a cigar to create a plug of the cut portion of the cigar, which plug remains at least in part within the hollow body portion first end, and the handle is operable to move the plunger toward the cutting edge to eject the plug from the housing.

Abstract: A portable cigar holder for rapidly extinguishing a lighted cigar and for saving the extinguished cigar for later consumption is provided. The cigar holder comprises a hollow cylindrical tube having a closed end portion and an open end opposed to said closed end portion and a removable cap sized to close the open end of the tube for forming a substantially air tight container so as to promote rapid extinguishing of the lighted cigar. The cigar holder includes a specially configured snuffer which snuffer is in the shape of a bowl with the open end of the bowl facing the open end of the cigar holder and which snuffer is readily slideable within the cigar holder. The cigar holder of the invention accommodates cigars of different lengths while minimizing the overall length of the cigar holder so that the holder may be comfortably carried by the cigar smoker.
