Abstract: A system for the safe coupling of a re-usable bag to a banknote handling and storing machine, the system includes a bag container, having an upper rigid mouth, of a flexible bag permanently fixed to the rigid mouth and of a lid for closing the rigid mouth. The system also includes a bag-holding frame, suitable for being stably fixed to a safe structure of the machine, for supporting and hooking the bag container when placed inside the machine to be filled in with the banknotes, is provided with coupling and hooking electromechanical components between the bag container and the bag-holding frame. The lid for closing the rigid mouth is further provided with an element suitable to allow, on command, the banknotes passing from the machine to the bag through the closed lid when the bag container is correctly inserted inside the machine.

Abstract: An apparatus for filling and sealing bags intended for containing banknotes includes a generally parallelepiped-shaped container, with side walls, a bottom and an upper lid provided with an opening for allowing entry into the container of a bag, made up of flexible plastic film, and of banknotes intended to be introduced into the same bag. The apparatus includes a pair of sealing bars arranged at the upper end of the container and a system for controlling and moving the bars between their respective opening and closing positions.

Abstract: Equipment and method for automatically changing tools on hobbing machines. The machines are of the type equipped with a bedplate to which are connected a pair of uprights, the first of which for supporting a work head and the second of which for supporting a cutter head. The cutter head is rotatable around a horizontal axis and supports horizontally a hob at the extremities thereof. The equipment includes guide means provided in the cutter head, parallel to the axis of the hob, and a support for at least one extremity of the hob is slidable inside the cutter head along the guide means. The support is also displaceable, without being withdrawn from the cutter head, by an amount sufficient to free the two extremities of the hob from the cutter head. The equipment includes also an independent frame fixable to either one of the pair of uprights, and supporting grasping means located above the cutter head.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a gear cutter that comprises a bedplate, a first block or column mounted on the bedplate, designed to carry a tool, and a second block or column also mounted on the bedplate, designed to carry in an axis of rotation a piece to be cut, and wherein provision is made for a device for detecting variations, due to the thermal expansion of the bedplate, in the distance the first block is apart from the second block, and for drive means interlocked to the said detection device and connected to at least one of the said blocks in order to compensate continuously for variations in the spacing in between the said blocks.
