Abstract: Valve arrangements for use with a water meter include a first valve comprising a first valve housing, a first inlet, and a first outlet, the first inlet and the first outlet of the first valve being oriented substantially perpendicular to one another, a second valve comprising a second valve housing, a second inlet, and a second outlet, the second inlet and the second outlet of the second valve being oriented substantially perpendicular to one another; the first inlet of the first valve and the second outlet of the second valve being substantially coaxial with one another, and the first outlet of the first valve and the second inlet of the second valve being oriented substantially 180° apart from one another, with the first valve housing and the second valve housing being joined together by a connection member.
Abstract: Valve arrangements for use with a tankless water heater include a housing with at least first, second and third ports with a valve member provided within the first port. A valve member is provided for the second port. A cold water valve arrangement may include a strainer provided at the second port and a check valve provided at the first port. The valve arrangement may be used with various pipe connectors including a push pr push-fit connection for the first port.
Abstract: A valve includes a housing with at least one inlet and at least one outlet with a valve member provided within the housing. The valve member is selectively positioned to control communication between the at least one inlet and the at least one outlet with the valve housing having a teeth ring with a plurality of teeth directed generally radially inwardly and generally toward the interior of the valve housing. In a preferred embodiment, an annular sealing member is provided between the teeth ring and the valve member with a first shoulder limiting movement of the teeth ring toward the valve member. An annular ring is provided between the teeth ring and the first shoulder and a second shoulder is provided between the first shoulder and the valve member. A third shoulder is provided between the second shoulder and the valve member with the third shoulder having a diameter corresponding to the outside diameter of a pipe to be received within the teeth ring.
Abstract: An enclosed valve module for a fluid-distribution system comprises a first main passageway for a fluid, a plurality of first branch passageways for the fluid, and a first plurality of valves with each of the valves selectively providing communication between the first main passageway and an associated one of the plurality of first branch passageways with a housing provided about the first plurality of valves, with the housing having an opening providing access to the first plurality of valves and with the opening being selectively closed by a member arranged to releasably and sealingly engage the housing about the opening with the first main passageway and each of the plurality of first branch passageways extending from inside of the housing to outside of the housing with the housing providing a substantially air-tight enclosure for the plurality of valves when the member sealingly engages the housing about said opening.
