Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for the securing of a load at a load bed, said load bed having at least one longitudinal groove including at least one undercut; said apparatus comprising a clamping mechanism, said clamping mechanism comprising an actuation element and an adapter element having at least one engagement means which can be guided into the longitudinal groove, wherein the engagement means of the adapter element can be brought into engagement with the undercut of the longitudinal groove in a shape-matched and force-transmitting manner by means of the actuation element.
