Abstract: Systems and methods for assessing text legibility in an electronic document are disclosed. According to certain aspects, the electronic document may include a text layer and a background layer, and an electronic device may generate a text mask comprising a set of glyphs at certain positions. The electronic device may analyze the text mask to generate an output comprising a set of bounding boxes that indicate legibility degrees of the respective glyphs included in the text mask. The electronic device may display the output for review and assessment by a user, who may use the electronic device to facilitate any modifications to the electronic document.

Abstract: Systems and methods for rendering items with a user interface of an electronic device are described. According to certain aspects, an electronic device may detect its orientation and render, in a user interface, a physical item using a rendering effect determined from the orientation. As a user of the electronic device reorients the electronic device, the electronic device may automatically and dynamically update the rendering with an updated rendering effect to reflect the updated orientation. In embodiments, the user may use the electronic device to complete an order for the physical item.

Abstract: Systems and methods of co-editing a design for a printed product is disclosed. According to certain aspects, a server may store tool state variable(s) corresponding to editing tool(s) included in a printed product editor in a database; receive, from a first electronic device executing a first instantiation of the printed product editor, a request for a collaborative communication session with a second electronic device executing a second instantiation of the printed product editor; generate the collaborative communication session between the two devices in response to the request, the collaborative communication session including a state of editing tool(s) of the first instantiation of the printed product editor; update the tool state variable(s) corresponding to the state of editing tool(s) of the first instantiation in the database; and synchronize a state of editing tool(s) of the second instantiation in response to the updating.

According to certain aspects, an electronic device may display a visual design including a set of design elements, each of which may be contained within a corresponding container. The electronic device may receive a selection to spatially adjust a design element, and may determine a modification to the design element based an element behavior of the design element and/or a container behavior of the corresponding container. The electronic device may display, in the user interface, the design element reflecting the modification.

Abstract: Systems and methods for automatically generating digital designs according to search queries. According to certain aspects, an electronic device may present a first template associated with a first online service, and a second template associated with a second online service. The electronic device may facilitate a search using inputted keywords, and identify a set of images and/or design elements according to the search. The electronic device may modify the first template and/or the second template by incorporating various of the images and/or design elements. A user may select different functionalities associated with the modified templates, including selecting digital design for an online service, such as a social media site and/or an online video conferencing site.

According to certain aspects, an electronic device may support a design application that may enable a user to create and edit a digital design across multiple formats associated with multiple online services. The design applications enables the effective and efficient editing of the formats such that the digital design maintains a similar look and feel for each format. In embodiments, the design application may interface with the multiple online services to access formatting parameters and upload the respective formats for the digital design.

In particular, the systems and methods may detect a first set of lines depicted in a processed digital image indicative of content of interest extracted from the digital image, and detect a second set of lines depicted in a subtracted digital resulting from subtracting a set of contours from the processed digital image.
