Abstract: A liquid crystal projection system has a dichroic mirror, a reflecting prism, a first and a second polarizing component, a dichroic component, a modulating device, and a projection lens. The dichroic mirror splits a polarized light source into dual primary color lights and a single primary color light. The reflecting prism receives the single primary color light and reflects it. The first and second polarizing components polarize the dual primary color lights and the single primary color light, respectively. The dichroic component is disposed beside the first polarizing component, and splits the dual primary color lights. The modulating device is disposed beside the second polarizing component and the dichroic component, and modulates the dual and single primary color lights into the other polarization and then reflects them. The projection lens is disposed beside the first polarizing component, and project the output light beam to a screen.
Abstract: A LCD projection system includes a beam splitter that splits a polarized light beam into a light of two primary colors and a light of one primary color, a first polarization element adapted to polarize the light of two primary colors, a second polarization element adapted to polarize the light of one primary color, a dichroic element adapted to separate the two colors of the light of two primary colors, a modulator adapted to modulate the light of tow primary colors and the light of one primary color and to reflect modulated light for output, a retarder provided between the first polarization element and the polarization element, and a projection lens adapted to project modularized light from the modulator and the first polarization element onto a display screen.
Abstract: A horizontal/vertical dual-mode LCD projector includes a first casing having a square mounting open side, a second casing having a square mounting open side connectable to the mounting open side of the first casing between two positions at 90° angle, a lamp module mounted in the first casing, two lens arrays respectively mounted in between the mounting open side of the first casing and the lamp module, and an optical module mounted inside the second casing.
