Abstract: A low-complexity method and apparatus for frame accurate field of view switching for virtual reality systems may be used principally for streaming virtual reality data systems, allowing optimal and consistent quality for field of view based VR streaming engines. The method and apparatus may also be used for other virtual reality data systems.
