Publication number: 20170246834Abstract: An adhesive assembly can be used to join textile materials together creating a durable wash resistant. An emblem can be removed from a work shirt without leaving glue stains or residue. The shirt may be reused if emblems need to be removed or changed before the life of the garment expires. In various embodiments, a layer of mesh is incorporated into the heat activated glue on the back of the emblem. This mesh does not affect adherence to the garment. The emblem sticks just as well as without the mesh layer and with zero process changes to how the emblem is applied. The mesh allows for the complete removal of the adhesive from the garment when the patch is removed allowing the garment to be used even after the patch is removed.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 24, 2017Publication date: August 31, 2017Applicants: Cintas Corporation, World Emblem International, Inc.Inventors: Manuel Figueroa, Susan Lillard, Christopher R. Publication number: 20170055749Abstract: A slip resistant floor mat includes a number of upstanding projections in the form of blades or teeth arranged on an upper surface thereof. The blades or teeth deflect under a load and dissipate the force of the load so that the tendency of the mat to slip on the underlying floor is reduced.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 19, 2016Publication date: March 2, 2017Applicant: Cintas CorporationInventors: Richard R. Publication number: 20160257097Abstract: A floor mat includes a combination of a winged fiber pile and a liquid impervious base. The mat may be used in many consumer and industrial environments where protection from inclement weather is desired as well as in industrial clean rooms, laboratories and hospitals. The winged fibers have a high surface area because of their structure including a core surrounded by a plurality of lobes. Channels of one micron or less in width are formed between adjacent lobes to form paths for the capture and/or transport of gases, liquids or particles. The winged fibers are assembled in woven or non-woven fabrics for use in floor mats.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 2, 2016Publication date: September 8, 2016Applicant: Cintas CorporationInventors: Richard R. Publication number: 20160092835Abstract: A restaurant cleaning mop includes a color label on the surface of the mop handle to identify the area of the restaurant in which the cleaning mop is to be utilized. The mop handle is detachable from a mop head and the handle bears the indicia. Moreover, since the indicia is provided on the detachable handle, the non-differentiated mop head can be easily replaced as needed and the mop handle remains in the designated area while the mop head is replaced. In another aspect, this invention is directed to an inventory management scheme in which a first detachable part of a cleaning tool, such as a mop handle, bears coded indicia to indicate a particular zone or area of a facility in which the tool is to be used.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 6, 2015Publication date: March 31, 2016Applicant: Cintas CorporationInventors: David F. Patent number: 9207013Abstract: A method of processing at least one garment involves a local environment with ambient moisture, a garment having a moisture content, a plurality of work stations, and a threshold amount of moisture. The plurality of work stations operate according to a plurality of parameters. The threshold amount of moisture is the amount of ambient moisture naturally absorbed by the garment. The method includes a processing step, a measuring step, a determining step and an adjusting step. The garment is processed through at least one of the work stations during the processing step. During the measuring step, the moisture content of the garment is measured. The relationship between the measured moisture content and the threshold amount of moisture is determined during the determining step. And, at least one parameter is adjusted based on the relationship between the measured moisture content and the threshold amount of moisture during the adjusting step.Type: GrantFiled: December 10, 2012Date of Patent: December 8, 2015Assignee: Cintas CorporationInventors: Kasey T. Publication number: 20140272278Abstract: A system and method for making a slip resistant mat can include assembling parts with predetermined geometries to form a mold that can be used for making slip resistant mats that have channels to account for moisture between the mat and the floor. The unique geometries of the parts which form the mold can be manufactured efficiently and with reduced costs. The mold of this invention can be used to make slip resistant mats with channels that can both dissipate water and offer a high degree of mat to floor surface contact.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 17, 2014Publication date: September 18, 2014Applicant: Cintas CorporationInventors: Ian S.
