Abstract: A method including providing a trim profile, the trim profile including a bend extending in the longitudinal direction of the trim profile, wherein the bend is arranged between side edges extending in the longitudinal direction, and wherein the bend shapes an interior surface and an exterior surface of the trim profile, fixating a first part of the trim profile including the bend in a first fixation arrangement, and arranging and fixating a second part of the trim profile in a second fixation arrangement. A deep drawing operation providing a relative displacement between a stamping tool and at least one of the fixation arrangements in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction so that the stamping tool moves into a working space, wherein the deep drawing operation forces a wall material of the trim profile into the working space to provide an end wall part on the trim profile.
Abstract: An exhaust gas outlet system for a motor vehicle has an end pipe and a cover. The end pipe cover has an end pipe cover inner and outer wall constructed with at least two walls. The end pipe cover inner wall is constructed in at least two parts, can be closed radially around the end pipe and can be at least partially arranged in a positive-locking manner on the end pipe so that the end pipe cover inner wall in the state thereof mounted on the end pipe is not axially displaceable. A first annular securing element keeps the end pipe cover inner wall radially fixed on the end pipe. The end pipe cover outer wall can be pushed axially over the end pipe cover inner wall. The end pipe cover outer wall is fixed by means of a locking connection axially to the end pipe cover inner wall.

Abstract: An exhaust tailpipe mounting system for mounting on an exhaust pipe end includes a tailpipe and a ring member attached to the tailpipe. At least three spring elements are attached to the ring member, wherein each spring element extends generally along a longitudinal axis and is bent into a wave shape. Each spring element has a proximal end opposite a distal end, where the proximal end is attached to the ring member and the distal end has at least one pointed end configured to grip into an outer surface of the exhaust pipe end. Each spring element has a first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh bend zone starting from the proximal end and respectively going to the distal end. The at least one pointed end of is angled at an angle of 75° to 85° in relation to the longitudinal axis of the spring elements.
Abstract: Exhaust pipe band clamp for connecting separate pipes in an engine exhaust pipe system having a belt part and fastening arrangement, in which the fastening arrangement includes flanges integrally formed at the ends of the belt part, and method for producing the clamp. The flanges and a portion of the belt are provided with reinforcing ribs, which are made by bending a part of the longitudinal edges of the band clamp, which extend along each edge of each of at least a part of the flanges and an end portion of the belt. The free end part of each flange are preferably bent so that ends of the flanges face towards each other and in a direction opposite to the outer surface of the flanges. The first flange has a protrusion and the end of the second flange a corresponding cut-out.
