Abstract: Provided is a hexavalent chromium treatment agent capable of penetrating inside of a leather and capable of reducing not only hexavalent chromium present in the vicinity of the surface of the leather but also hexavalent chromium present inside the leather into trivalent chromium. The hexavalent chromium treatment agent of the present invention comprises a hexavalent chromium-reducing compound capable of reducing hexavalent chromium into trivalent chromium, a nonionic surfactant, and an aqueous solvent. The hexavalent chromium-reducing compound preferably comprises an organic compound (A) that has a specific structure capable of acting to reduce hexavalent chromium into trivalent chromium, that has a hydroxyphenyl group, and that has no aldehyde groups and no carboxyl groups.
Abstract: Provided is a surface acoustic wave device using a novel and steadily suppliable piezoelectric material that is resistant to a high-temperature environment and enables the surface acoustic wave device to use a 2 GHz to 2.5 GHz band or higher. The surface acoustic wave device includes: a piezoelectric substrate formed from a monocrystal of gehlenite (CAS: Ca2Al(AlSi)O7); and interdigital transducers formed on a surface acoustic wave propagation plane of the piezoelectric substrate.

A drawing position of the recording medium into an inversion path is arranged to be lower than the recording medium holding unit and the recording unit in the vertical direction.

Abstract: A printer is configured that, when double-side recording is executed, a back end side of a long strip-like recording medium on which single-side recording is executed by a recording unit is cut by a cutter mechanism, the cut-off recording medium is thereafter conveyed to an inversion mechanism starting with a front end thereof by a switching flap disposed on a side closer to a discharge outlet than the cutter mechanism, a front side and a back side are inverted to each other at the inversion mechanism, thereafter the recording medium is again conveyed to the recording unit starting with an end thereof that is the back end when the recording medium is conveyed to the inversion mechanism, recording is executed for the back side by the recording unit, thereafter the recording medium is again conveyed to the cutter mechanism, and a margin is cut off by the cutter mechanism.

Abstract: A light-emitting device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided, which device yields light exhibiting an actual hue with a deviation reduced as much as possible from a designed hue value, wherein the light is a mixture of light emitted from densely-mounted light-emitting elements and excited light from a phosphor contained in a resin sealing the light-emitting elements. The light-emitting device includes a board, light-emitting elements mounted densely on the board so that light-emitting surfaces thereof face opposite to the board, and a seal resin containing a plurality of different phosphors and covering all of the light-emitting elements, wherein the phosphors are excited by light from the light-emitting elements and deposited on upper surfaces of the light-emitting elements. A space between adjacent light-emitting elements has a length of 5 ?m or more and 120% or less of a median diameter D50 of a phosphor which has the largest average particle size of the phosphors.
Abstract: Provided is a light-emitting device including a mount board, an LED element mounted on the mount board, and a translucent or transparent sealing resin being filled onto the mount board to seal the LED element. The sealing resin contains first and second particulate phosphors excited by emitted light from the LED element, and a nanoscale filler having an average particle size in the range of 1 nm to 100 nm. The specific gravity of the first particulate phosphor is smaller than that of the second particulate phosphor. The sealing resin includes a dispersion layer of the first particulate phosphor covering areas obliquely above and beside the LED element, and a deposition layer of the second particulate phosphor on upper surfaces of the mount board and the LED element. The first particulate phosphor is dispersed in the dispersion layer among aggregates formed by particles of the nanoscale filler.

The numerical control apparatus includes a thread-cutting vibration adjustment unit controlling the drive unit to shift phase of the vibration with respect to phase of the main shaft by a predetermined vibration phase shift amount every time in the cut processes.
