    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a composition for preventing or improving fat deposition on the liver in spite of the alcohol intake history of a level that a liver disease is not caused. The inventors found that glutathione has an effect of preventing or improving fat deposition on the liver, which is not caused by alcohol, and completed the present invention. Among nonalcoholic fat diseases, the present invention is particularly effective in an early stage of the treatment or in a case where treatment for another disease is not performed.

    Abstract: A Raman detection system has a Raman spectrometer and a fixing light shielding stand. One end of the fixing light shielding stand is fixedly connected to the Raman spectrometer, and the other end is disposed with an entrance groove for a needle-like SERS probe to enter. A slot for fixing the needle-like SERS probe is formed at an end of the entrance groove, and the slot and the needle-like SERS probe match in shape and size. The Raman detection system has a fixing light shielding device with a dark color groove and a focal length. The groove can be used for limiting the rolling of the curved surface structure of the needle-like SERS probe. A laser can be focused on the curved surface more accurately by adjusting the distance from the instrument detector to the SERS probe.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a nanosensor for real-time monitoring of wound healing, a manufacturing method thereof, and a real-time monitoring system for wound healing using the same. A nanosensor according to example embodiments includes a biomarker for detecting mRNA and a reference gene on gold nanoparticles, thereby providing an objective indicator through monitoring of wound healing, enabling monitoring of wound healing through direct monitoring using real-time fluorescence by including a fluorescent marker in a nanoflare, and enabling evaluation of a whole wound healing process in normal and patient groups (diabetes) through real-time monitoring. In addition, the nanosensor according to the example embodiments has advantages of shortening synthesis time and improving efficiency by 30% through integration of a novel synthesis method (freezing method) rather than an existing synthesis method (salt aging).

    Abstract: Systems and methods for genome sequence compression and decompression are provided. The method for compression encoding of a genome sequence includes partitioning a genome sequence into a plurality of Group of Bases (GoBs) and processing each of the plurality of GoBs independently to encode the genome sequence into a bit stream. Processing each of the plurality of GoBs includes dividing each of the plurality of GOBs into a first part and a second part, the first part including an initial context part and the second part including a learning-based inference part. The processing each of the plurality of GoBs further includes encoding the first part in accordance with a Markov model, encoding the second part in accordance with a learning-based model, and encoding the encoded first part and the encoded second part into the bit stream with an arithmetic encoder. The learning-based model may include Long and Short-Term Memory (LSTM)-based neural networks.

    Abstract: A multimodal haptic feedback interface installed with a multimode haptic patch stimulates a skin area of a user to provide a haptic feedback including first and second haptic-feedback components to be sensed under static tactile sensing and dynamic tactile sensing, respectively. The patch is mounted with mechanical actuators, electrostimulation electrodes and thermoelectric pellets. The actuators generate a two-dimensional pattern of pressure on the skin area for generating the first haptic-feedback component. The electrostimulation electrodes electrically stimulates the skin area, causing the user to feel a vibration or pressure for generating the second haptic-feedback component. The actuators and electrostimulation electrodes are optimized only for static tactile sensing and dynamic tactile sensing, respectively, reducing an implementation cost while optimized for accuracy in haptic feedback generation.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a solar absorber incorporated bilayer foam solar evaporator for seawater and wastewater purification including a plurality of solar absorbers partially incorporated into a porous polymer framework and partially forming a thermal insulation layer proximal to solar irradiation. In particular, low-cost commercially available B4C powders are embedded into a porous polymer foam in a one-pot method to form a scaffold of boron carbide bilayer foam (BCBF) with good hydrophilic wettability, heat-shielding, and solar-thermal conversion. The boron carbide bilayer foam (BCBF) of the present invention enables a high cost-performance seawater desalination and wastewater purification at a high evaporation rate of 2.8 kg/m2/h with 93% solar evaporation efficiency under 1 sun illumination (or 1 kW/m2). The present invention thereby provides an excellent and cost-effective solar evaporator tool for industrial-level water purification.

    Abstract: A three-dimensional display system, a head up display system, and a mobile object including a head up display system include a display apparatus, barrier, detection apparatus, and controller. The detection apparatus detects the left and right eye positions. The controller moves the display boundary based on at least a change in the positions of the left and right eyes.
