Abstract: A modular armrest system for mounting to a seat having a seat bottom with a lower surface and opposed first and second lateral sides. The system includes an elongated base plate that extends below the lower surface of the seat bottom and having at least one aperture that receives at least one fastener adapted to connect the elongated base plate to the seat bottom, and having opposed first and second ends proximate the respective opposed lateral sides. A first armrest assembly has a first mounting bracket having a horizontal portion connected to the first end of the elongated base plate and an upward extending portion connected to a generally horizontal arm support, and a second armrest assembly has a second mounting bracket having a horizontal portion connected to the second end of the elongated base plate and an upward extending portion connected to a generally horizontal arm support.

Abstract: A locking hub and extensible handle assembly includes a handle having an elongated portion with a stop member at a first end, a grasping portion at an opposed second end, and at least one push button within the handle and proximate the first end. The assembly further includes a hub having a body with a passage extending through the body in a longitudinal direction and slidably receiving the elongated portion of the handle. The assembly also includes an actuator that is movable to permit the push button to be used to lock and unlock the handle relative to the hub.

Abstract: A flip-over portable shelter that includes a sled, a flip-over frame assembly and an outer covering. The flip-over frame assembly is pivotally connected to the sled and the outer covering includes an enlarged doorway that wraps around a corner for access through two adjacent walls, without obstruction by the flip-over frame assembly. The flip-over portable shelter also optionally includes a removable floor.

Abstract: A drill assembly attachment having a handle, a drill mount, and a throttle. The throttle may have a first portion and a second portion rotationally engaged with the first portion such that the second portion is rotationally actuated in response to linear actuation of the first portion of the throttle. The throttle is positioned with respect to the drill mount and the handle such that the first portion may be linearly actuated by a user with a hand grasping the handle. The drill assembly attachment receives a drill assembly such that the throttle adjustably engages a trigger of the drill assembly. The drill assembly attachment or the drill assembly receives an auger or other tool and the drill assembly attachment with the drill assembly and auger or other tool is used in a method of rotating the auger or other tool.

Abstract: A removable floor for use with a portable shelter, the floor including a central section defining a ground engaging area and having at least one layer constructed of a non-permeable material, at least one side wall extending upward from and being connected to the central section at an edge of the ground engaging area and having an outward facing side wall fastener, and at least one initial locating fastener extending outward relative to the at least one side wall of the floor. The floor is usable in combination with a portable shelter having complementary fasteners for releasable connection of the floor to the shelter.

Abstract: A removable insulated floor for use with a portable shelter, the floor including a central section defining a ground engaging area and having at least three layers, at least one side wall extending upward from and being connected to the central section at an edge of the ground engaging area and having an outward facing side wall fastener, the central section includes at least one opening, and a central section fastener is connected to an upper layer of the central section and is located proximate the at least one opening, and at least one patch having a patch fastener connected to a lower surface of the patch and being releasably connected to the central section fastener located proximate the at least one opening. The floor is usable in combination with a portable shelter having complementary fasteners for releasable connection of the floor to the shelter.

Abstract: Disclosed are drill assembly attachments having a handle, a drill mount, and a throttle. The throttle is positioned with respect to the drill mount and the handle such that a first portion may be actuated by a user with a hand that is grasping the handle. The drill assembly attachment receives a power drill assembly such that the throttle adjustably engages a trigger of the drill assembly. The drill assembly attachment receives a rotatable device, such as an auger or other tool. Also disclosed is a method of using a power drill assembly and the drill assembly attachment.

Abstract: A portable shelter having a hinged side wall includes an enclosure having a plurality of interconnected side walls defining a floor space and being connected to a top wall. At least one of the side walls is a hinged side wall that is pivotally connected to the enclosure and includes opposed first and second side edges and a tope edge that defines an opening in the enclosure. At least one connecting member on the enclosure is configured to selectively connect and disconnect at least the first side edge and the top edge of the hinged side all at the opening. The disclosure also provides a method of hinging the side wall of the portable shelter to an open position.

Abstract: A shelter including an enclosure having a plurality of interconnected side walls defining a floor space and being connected to a top wall, with at least one of the side walls or the top wall including a panel construction comprising a flame resistant insulated fabric, the flame resistant insulated fabric including a flame resistant outer layer, a flame resistant inner layer, an insulating middle layer disposed between and adhesively bonded to the flame resistant outer layer and the flame resistant inner layer. Also disclosed is a method of making a shelter including forming the flame resistant insulated fabric.

Abstract: A convertible shelter system includes an enclosure having a removable side wall that selectively may be hinged to provide open access or to be held in an open position as a wind break. The convertible shelter system also includes the ability to fully remove the removable side wall on two enclosures having the same construction and to quickly and conveniently connect the remaining enclosure structures with a bridging panel, resulting in an enlarged, combined space while maintaining an essentially unobstructed ground surface.

Abstract: An ice fishing sled includes a base, a plurality of side walls, a crossbar, and a seat. The base has a length and a width. The plurality of side walls are connected to the base, and extend generally normal to the base. The plurality of side walls include opposing side wall portions and opposing end wall portions. The crossbar is supported by the opposing end wall portions, and is positioned intermediate the opposing side wall portions. The seat is supported by the crossbar and a first one of the opposing side wall portions. Further disclosed is a method of connecting a wear strip to a sled.

Abstract: A portable shelter comprises a sled, a first bracket, a first pole, and a first sheet of material. The sled includes a base and a plurality of walls connected to the base, and the plurality of walls include a perimeter edge. The first bracket is disposed on the sled. The first pole has a first end and a second end, where the first end of the first pole is operatively connected to the first bracket. The first pole is pivotable between a first position where the second end of the first pole is positioned adjacent to a first portion of the perimeter edge and a second position where the second end of the first pole is spaced from the first portion of the perimeter edge. The first sheet of material is secured between the first pole and the portion of the perimeter edge of the sled, such that the sled can be positioned to rest on a bottom edge of the edge portion with the sled tilted at an angle defined by the first sheet.

Abstract: A portable shelter system is constructed from two portable shelters. Each portable shelter is provided with an enclosure having a front wall configured with a door and a rear wall configured with an opening. The opening of each rear wall is fitted with first and second zippers about the perimeter of the opening. A second door fitted with a mating zipper is reversibly connected to the first zipper. A sleeve having opposing first and second perimeter edges is fitted with mating zippers that connect to the second zippers of each opening when the rear walls of the two portable shelters are adjacent to and spaced from one another.

Abstract: A folding frame apparatus is provided that contains a removable and pivoting rod clamp employed to hold a ice fishing jig rod in the desired position, and is designed in a manner that it can be used with almost all of the ice fishing jig rods on the market today. The frame of the present invention is constructed in a manner that all joints are pivotal in nature which allows the frame to be opened or closed as desired by the user. The present invention is also equipped with a signal flag assembly which, when a fish takes the bait, causes the flag to move to an upright position and alerts the fisherman to the presence of a fish.
