Patents Assigned to Clarification Technology, Inc.
  • Patent number: 11661359
Abstract: Fluid treatment systems and components are provided for a removal of solid matter from water or other fluids in which a chemical or chemicals may be introduced into the fluid under pressure to coagulate and/or conglomerate the solid materials and cause them to be dropped out of the treatment system and be removed. The fluid treatment system can include: an equalization chamber receiving a wastewater; a clarification chamber receiving a partially separated water from the equalization chamber; a mixing tube having an inlet end and an outlet end; and a sludge detector.

  • Patent number: 10835843
Abstract: A filtration device for filtering cooking oil is provided. The filtration device may include a hub and one or more filtration units having a central aperture to coupleably receive the hub. Each of the one or more filtration units may include a first upper filter sheet including a water insoluble or partially water insoluble material or combination of materials that convert or at least partially convert free fatty acid in the cooking oil to soap and a second upper filter sheet arranged adjacent to the first upper filter sheet and coupled thereto. The second upper filter sheet can include a material or combination of materials that remove or at least partially remove the soap from the cooking oil to produce filtered cooking oil. The one or more filtration units can be in fluid communication with the hub through which filtered cooking oil may be removed from the filtration device.

  • Patent number: 9993113
Abstract: A filtration device to filter cooking oil is provided having an upper layer comprised of a filter paper and a lower layer comprised of a filter pad. The filter paper of the upper layer includes pleats defining a plurality of food particle receiving channels over a substantial portion of a central area of the filter paper. The filter pad is attached to a peripheral portion of the filter paper to form a multi-layered filtration device having a central pleated region in which the upper and the lower layers are unbonded to each other. The central pleated region is configured to accumulate food particles above a threshold size as the filter paper and filter pad cooperatively filter cooking oil during a filtration operation. Methods of making and using filtration devices are also provided.

  • Patent number: 6371307
Abstract: In accordance with this invention, an improved filter resembling an envelope is disclosed. The filter envelope for the filter frame element includes an enclosure, the enclosure being constructed from planar first and second filter paper members lying atop one another. The first and second filter paper members each have a lateral, medial, base, and top sides, the lateral, medial, and base sides being connected to each other, respectively, to define the enclosure. The top side of the first member is not connected to the top side of the second member so as to define an opening in the enclosure to receive the frame. A closure is formed from a planar third filter paper member which is connected to a portion of the enclosure being proximate to the opening. The third filter paper member is movable between a first position and a second position, the second position being suited to close the opening.
